Quote from The Very End :Again, we don't really know for sure that it's new tracks coming, we know they work on polishing the excisting contest of the game, but we're not 100% sure that they actually has, or progressing with new tracks, so it's all down to speculations

You can't honestly assume that they're not planning to release any more tracks, can you? I'd rather trust Bob on this one.

Yeah, it would just make the wait harder. For now, just drive and now there will be something at some point.

No, we really don't have to speculate and write silly stuff, but some people can't stop. What good would it do you, to know that there's a track in store for you? Maybe they're being secretive because nothing is certain at this point.
Personally I don't think there are new tracks in the pipe for a while, with all the other stuff they've mentioned, like various updates and the Scirocco.

Quote from Klutch :Just think of it as something that 12 year old kids do.

You know, the things that you stay far far away from. To keep them kids occupied while you do your important stuff.

You're an idiot, truly you are.

Actually, it would have to be more like "don't be a putz, read the rules of whichever server you join". He was the one that f*cked up, not the admin or the concept of cruising.

HAH, I knew it, he was just to thick to understand the rules. Happens far too much, even with non newbies.

It's just based on the Golf V, but it's wider, lighter, longer, stiffer and supposedly more nimble. They aren't worlds apart, but it's not a Golf with a different body. Tuned?...christ

If you're into looks, then sure, pick NFS. If you want a sim, then purchasing S2 would be the wisest choice. Personally I don't see how you could compare the two, or be in doubt about what to choose.

HLVC + online racing = stupid. Lag would put you on the grass, in the "eyes" of the server and HLVC, several times in a race(afaik, Victor will correct me if I'm wrong). Plus, the problem is only in the chicanes and some turns and can we really turn off HLVC at certain spots?
It really doesn't sounds realistic at all, quite a bad idea in my eyes.

Though, in the case of the BL1 chicane, people should not be issued a warning. It's a far too blatant cutting spot and should result in action right away. Cheating once per 10 laps, is still cheating.

Quote from wsinda :It takes more than one person to ruin a thread: the one who goes OT, and the ones who react to him. You have heard about ignore lists, right?

No, it didn't, he ruined it all by himself, then we started responding. I know about the ignore function, but I don't use it because it's annoying when people respond to ignored posts, plus it makes discussions a lot harder.

You might want to brush up on the rules of the server you joined. Maybe he didn't do anything wrong, apart from the blocking. In case you don't understand cruising, there might be cops there, which try and keep the peace. Some do a pisspoor job of it, but I can't tell if this guy was wrong or right.

He did post them though, you can't deny that, so technically that doesn't prove if he read the post(s) or not. Fact remains that lerts ruined the thread, by clarifying, to absolutely no one but himself and the voices, that the elephant story wasn't true. I mean honestly, who believed it was true? Who under the age of 7 didn't understand it was a joke? It was funny too.
If he wants to ridicule himself with his insane nonsense, fine. But keep it in a single thread, titled "the voices..THE VOICES".

Quote from Bob Smith :Seems a bit harsh for accidentally cutting a kerb too tight, especially if it was because you had half lost control (for some other reason).

Depends on the spot I suppose, but if people are aware, they might try harder to keep on the tarmac at any cost. The penalty could be far into the sandtrap for instance, but still in the "optimal" cut line or the most popular route.

I don't see how you would penalize someone otherwise and drive throughs are normal in real life racing right? The main difference between lfs and real life IS accidental detours as you point out.

How would a 5 second penalty work in a race? Just an addition of the total time at the end of the race? If so, wouldn't a drive through penalty be better?

Edit: Christ, of course it's not a deduction, but an addition...nobody saw it, so...keep moving.

They don't need to, you just make your own. Superfluous suggestion, not an improvement either.

You're in no way caged on this forum, in fact you've been spouting idiocy for a long while. Freedom of speech goes both ways, so if you voice an opinion on something, people can voice their opinion on said subject, or you.
Some of the stuff that's been said is a bit harsh, I'll admit that, but crazy talk bothers me something fierce. Obviously you're not annoyed by being ridiculed, so mentioning that your "theories" are cause for much laughing, wouldn't do much good, would it?
A different approach was to just be straight up offensive, which might have worked, I don't quite know yet.

Had I known that was all it took, I would have said it a lot sooner. Given your posting history, there's really no other conclusion for me to draw.

and no, I actually have no idea what a "psicopath" is, but I'm sure you'll have a long winded answer for me. Which in turn will make me consider that hamsters are the dominant species because they have fluffy backs and no tails.

edit: Are you sure you're not suffering from paranoid delusions? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychosis hence "psycho"

Quote from driftking11 :i'd like to see a a datsun 240z, nissan 300zx, RX-7 FD style(FC too, although the xrg is the rx 7 FC), EVOs, silvia s13, s14, and s15, sil-eightys, 240 sx, 240 s13(240 head and silvia s13 back), oh yeah, and more selection of cars for demo racers(id prefer at least 6 cars for demo), and at least 2 tracks for demos, and ability to customize rims even if your a demo, and more realisticness, like the driver actually shifting the gear and pushing in the clutch with his foot and braking and acc., oh and if possible, getting out of your car!!! lol thanks a lot to lfs creators if they can do all of this and release the date when s3 will come out lol

3 cars, 1 track with several configurations is more than enough for free, which has been discussed several times. "more realisticness" ...yeah

Quote from a wiki: Although opinions vary, it is generally accepted that classic muscle cars were produced in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

I tend to agree with that, so I don't see why the Corvette and Viper are brought up. In any case: "Don't speak about something you never tried in person" is just a spectacular quote, I think I'll hang on to it.
