Actually you did nothing to the compass. I'm sorry to have to inform you of a small, but funny, coincidence. At the exact time you were fiddling with the compass, I was turning on all the lights in my house. Because I've routed the cables myself, I coiled them around a massive iron beam, thinking that I'd need a big magnet at some point. I had forgotten all about this and then some of my relays started acting funny. So I turned on all the lights to see if all the relays worked, and found out one was, and still is, sorta broken.
To make a long and supremely interesting story short, my house is a magnet and I broke your compasses, sorry.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and I want to be recognized as the FIRST PERSON ON THE LFS FORUM, with a house that's a magnet.
Yes. You're suggestion stuff that's already been suggested lots of times by people who haven't been here for too long. Please read up on what's been suggested before and THEN decide if we need to see the suggestion again.
Anything analog would do you good and since you have a stick and you're most likely used to it, that might be a good solution. Plus it's cheap
It probably comes down to practice, there are some good racers that use a joystick.
it's amazing that people still buy these rumors. The devs usually don't have problems telling us when stuff is out, unless it's my birthday and they want to surprise me. Yet, people STILL have to fabricate dates and additions. I heard zeug's tricycle is in the next patch.
If you're building something of your very own and you know just how it should be and you're enjoying it. Would you want random people making additions to it, and possibly pissing all over it?
This is only my own theory, so it may or may not be the exact truth. I don't think it's so much about getting the thing expanded with tracks and cars asap and over and done with. No, I think the getting there is part of what Scavier likes to do. Having inept pillocks cocking it up at every turn would give them more work of course, but that's not the same thing.
Naturally, it might not be true for every single person they would let help, but it's possible. For the record, I'm not saying whoever volunteered to help, is unable.
