The wheel is just so much better. It's like saying "Let's compare a Lada and a Rolls Royce. They both get you from A to B in a game, but the Fanatec wheel just does it better, and it looks (okay, this is subjectable to someone's tast) eand feels better.

ya i checked the price for base + bmw wheel + pedels + shifter , and the price is 1200$
thats alot of cash ! + cant buy this in israel so i have to order this , only wheel i can buy from fantech is the gt3rs and gt2 , which are just alittle more expensive then the g27 .

i want to buy the g27 wheel next month because i think its time to move on from using mouse as a wheel

is there any news on new wheel from logitech? because it will suck if a new wheel will be released right after i buy the g27

after i buy the wheel , can i change to a bigger steering wheel + shifter ?

have you ever used a G27? I know it's not the best thing in the world, but it's a programing problem with the game...


LFS don't react like this, GTR2 also, rFactor also, GSC also, FTruck also, etc etc etc



the only games that react that way are Shift 2, and test drive ferrari legends, which is on Shift 2's engine...


oh, and this happens with any kind of wheel, fanatec, thrustmaster, don't matter what brand you are fanboy of.

Your comparisons are to US prices though not the uk were he is selling it, a new g27 here is around £240 (~$375)

Hi,

Fixed!

I removed again Logitech drivers.. Removed Lfs , rebooted.. Without g27 plugged into USB..
So I reinstalled drivers and plugged USB in another port.. After I reinstalled Lfs and now working!


Now the clutch bar working.. So strange but now working correct!

I don't have any another controller.. Only g27..
In options I press clutch and show working in 4 axis.. I set it to clutch but the blue bar didn't appear .. Strange!

you can find a brand new g27 with 3 year warranty for 200 usd now. So for many this may not be worth it unless they wanted a G25. In Europe it may be worth it though with lower shipping and how expensive the new g27's are there

Yesterday it was all okey, i played lfs with my g27 and all okey. At night i turned of my computer, and today, when i wanted to play, its imposible to open the Laungh Gaming Software Profile, my wheel is totally desconfigured and if I open LFS.exe, it says me. Could not lad file: (and my driver name).

I'm so worried about that, i've unistalled the Laungh Gaming Software Profile and isntalled it again, the installer works, but when i try to open the LGSP it doenst works!

Any idea of what could i do?

Spin rate is good on my gt3rs, same as my g27 from what i can feel. But the fanatec allows you to adjust this by manipulating the drift mode.

I know someone who has tried the CSR elite's Clubsport v2 and g27 pedals and he prefers the cs pedals but found the brakenwas a bit stiff for his braking and he liked the csr elites brake a lot. He has the regular csr wheel and loves it as well, and he traded his logitech for it.

Forget anything with a brake potentiometer if you want to go to the next level.
On the otherhand the guy that bought my g27 (new in box) hasn't paid yet. If it doesnt go thru ill let you know.

I've compared the T500RS Pedals with the CSW (Fanatec) Pedals. Dont know why they are prefferd. But upgrading from a Momo to a T500RS / G27 / Fanatec wheel its an improvement on nearly everything

Yeah true I'd like to give my point of view to make a clear point on my decision

The T500RS has a better Bit resolution on communictation between Wheel and PC so you will get smoother/faster movement Ingame

My good old DFP is still working flawlessly after 6 years of Racing .

Every Wheel Comparison Forum Thread / video / review is nearly the same statement, if money isn't the question then get the T500RS ! It's often mentioned to get the CSW Pedals don't know why...

Meanwhile its cheaper since it was released in 2011. All of the experience are, even the Driver which using Fanatic Wheels are saying that the T500RS is the God Father of all Wheels.

There are some rumors on the internet that there will be a new Thrustmuster Wheel in the near future. Many Reseller didnt get the T500RS on Stock again because it isnt manufacture anymore (this is the rumor!!)

So I'm still waiting a bit more to get the T500RS for around 300€ where it was early 2013 Or there we get a new T500RS V2 or something like that. The only thing that I don't like on the actual T500RS is that the Shifterpedals are static mounted... Its not a disadvantage actually, many drivers mentioned that it's a bit of habituation.

If you can only offer a mid-high End Wheel -> GT3 RS V2 Wheel or G27 Logitech.
Dont ask me anything about Fanatic i dont like the layout of it... Only the ClubSport Wheels would be my choice but... its a High End Wheel and dose cost more then the T500Rs

What about the fanatec csr sets? wheel, pedals, shifter for 249 euros or wheel and elite pedals for 259? Puts them in a similar price range as a g27

Not sure what they are like so this is also kind of a thread hijack as I was looking at these.

G27 or T500 RS when it goes on discount.

It will see both and send information to both when they're connected.

If your G27 is still connected LFS might not be able to send FFB to both, just a wild guess.

Okay so I got FanaLEDs and as far as I can see...it's picking up the G27 which is being used to run the shifter and pedals.

I can't find a way for it to see the GT3 RS as default.

hi guys i am having troubles with my g27 i got it last week im running windows 7 im getting over 200fps i downloaded logitech profiler from the information i have been reading off lfs forums but i still cant find a way to fix this problem

what happens is if im drifting or racing like normal and i go full lock the force feedback kicks in but stays on so as i straighten up the wheel its still trying to use the force feed back against me and the only way it goes away is if i drive straight at full speed then it straightens up again with a clonk noise

any help will be very apperciated thanks

hi, i know there are some posts about g27's setup, i've read most of them, but still can't solve my problem, so i'll just open this new threat..

i've set the wheel as i readed on some posts, but i dont know why my shifter doesnt work.. the game detects it (i've configured on lfs options), but still doenst work...

any suggestion about what could i do or what am i doing wrong?
