Well yeah, I think the Tesco one would wobble as its only metal sides with wood holding it together. But I don't really want to spend too much as that's cutting into the sim seat fund, Only looking for a cheap table so I can actually use it before I get one as this glass one would either just slip off or worse.. risk breaking the glass.
Suppose I could disable FFB until I have a better solution, that's if it will stay on the glass one.
Argos one also says max 17inch monitor, Mines 22inch. Although don't think that'd be much of a problem its not like the TV is that heavy..
Probably wait until I buy the G27 and see what this glass one is like, then buy a cheap temp desk if needed, then buy the sim chassis/seat next month hopefully, if not be the month after depending on how things go.
Looking to get a G27 soon and need a desk since I have a glass one thats no good tbh..So looking to get a cheap desk that would work until I can afford to buy or build a seat rig. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6171043.htm
Anyone any idea if that'd work okay? Just for a month or so..
Doesn't look too bad. Desk size H74, W74, D52.5cm.

I don't know why is that happening. When I minimalize LFS and takes it back to full again, the wheel in the car turns fully at one of the sides, yet I didn't touched anything. I have to calibrate it again to get it to work. Is that a bug or is it me who does something wrong? Anyone able to reproduce it? I use G27, by the way.
the original FFB I can't feel almost any kurb, but with this mod I can feel all of them
edit: I noticed that after installing this mod, my game is crashing sometimes when I play windowed and do alt tab, am I the only one having this problem?
edit2: Ok, it seems that the crashing is not G27 leds fault, I deleted this mod since it don't work on the new patches, and it keeps crashing
2007. My flatmate's classmate was having a go on LFS during a lesson which got my flatmate hooked. He came home, downloaded LFS, showed me what it was all about and the rest is history.
Played on his laptop the the first time; drove out of pits in BL1 in the XFG (using kb, mind you), past turns 2/3 and by the time I was braking down the long straight I knew this is what I was waiting for all these years...
Keyboard to Logitech Momo to G25 to G27. 130,000+ Miles and still loving LFS.
Met hundreds (if not 1000s) of great people online over the years and had countless hours of fun.
Aright, thinking about doing a new video but some onboard/first person drifting with my G27. I also remember now why I thought it was so hard, it's because of the lag I got while I was recording, I have fixed that now so it'll probably be alot easier to be at a wider angle and risk more. The wheel acts the second i turn instead of it jittering/stuttering and not responding like before when It was laggy.
Hey guys. I've encountered a problem with my gear shifter with Logitech G27. it only happens in 4th and Reverse gear I've seen so far, but in 4th gear the in-game gear will suddenly go to 2nd, and in reverse it will just read neutral. Do you guys know anything about this?
Try with the RB4 locked rear diff, open front, 10% torque to the front 90 to the back, road super tyres with more pressure in the rear, and adjust the camber till you find the right setup, in the final drive up the torque a tiny bit in second, third and forth, also add 25kg weight to the front end,
It's the set up I use with my logitech g27 pretty much never need to touch the handbrake at all and can hold drifts flat out in fourth with ease

And here :-)
Well, I can get a brand new G27 for those 190 Euro in Switzerland. Maybe you're lucky and somebody does not compare prices but I doubt you can sell it for that amount of money.
Hello, racers. I've not been racing for too long and now that time got even more limited due to school and other activities, I really have NO time to drive.. So Im selling my under 1month old G27 for 190€. (bought it for 230€ under a month ago..)
If any1 in FINLAND (lol) got interested, PM me and we will talk more about it.
It's sad tho, I dont want to sell it but.. It's just collecting dust right now..
ALSO u think I should ask more money for it? I dont really know is that price too low/high?

I am using a Logitech G27 wheel, with clutch and 6 speed shifter. I do drive IRL, manual, but 5 series BMW. I am using a mix of XRT & FZ5. I like the FZ5 as it allows me to floor it most of the time and get through, but what I am doing is only power sliding, I can not hold a massive angled drift say around the ring of the Kyoto ring, or after the straight at Blackwood. I get to the corner, slow right down, hand brake to swing the car when the tyres are cool, or try and 'fling' the weight of the car when they are hot, and when I go through, I get through most of it but then the car keeps going and it spins and I end up facing the way I came from, even if I completely let go of the throttle..
I have seen the 'drift bible' videos on YT, both the LFS one, the red AE86 one, and a bit of the hour long one. I just cannot seem to break out of what I am doing and try what they are doing.. I will post up a video in a while..
Hi there I'm Alex. I just bought a G27 and a S2 Licence. I'm pretty new to race sims but somehow I'm addicted to controllers. Remember Steel Battalion? Anyway I really liked the LFS demo over the rfactor one. The rfactor FFB seemed broken to me with the wheel spinning to full right or left for no reason. So LFS worked way better. Now I'm interested in Nascar somehow. Is there anyone who can advice me how to get into Nascar Racing with LFS?
Just got my G27 today and it has been working fine until now when there was an issue with the profiler which is now fixed. It seems that when I put my foot on the accelerator or brake even just a tiny bit, it shoots up to 100% as if my foot was fully pressed on the pedal.
I feel like this is a easy fix but its not to me. If i turn my wheel 10 degrees in a direction my car turns at its full. i have no idea how to fix this plz help. wheel works 100% fine in iRacing its a G27
S2 license ~20 euros isn't it?
Momo racing wheel ~60 euros
Logitech G27 300+ euros
iRacing subs 30 ish euros so far

Raced go-karts and was mechanic, financier for my sons when they were racing go-karts. Will be teaching my two grandchildren on go-karts soon.
There are many European racers on public BL track racing FBM, but don't see many from North America. Hoping to find people awake when I am and would like to be part of something bigger than just logging on and picking up on a public race. My skills are very limited, but I enjoy very much and would like to learn more and contribute to a team that values both performance and relationships. Can message me here or to my email: [email protected] Like to race with any age, but maturity on the track is essential. Love to have fun!
