Dedicated simmers - how much do YOU spend on sim racing?
Hi Guys

Just interested me to find out how much you guys spend on sim racing. So extra components for computers, better monitors, FF wheels, etc...

Also, does anyone know the average spend on iRacing if you were to get every track and car etc...?
#2 - Hahmo
Ahem..

S2 license ~20 euros isn't it?
Momo racing wheel ~60 euros
Logitech G27 300+ euros
iRacing subs 30 ish euros so far
iRacing content 50 ish euros so far
netKar pro full license 20e?
pCars 15 euros I think it was?

then other components.. uhm..
3 screens so far ~400e
built a pc (with all updates etc, so far 900e ish)

thats my sim rig for you there.. :P now that I think of it, hell of a lot money i've spent on this.. and yeah I haven't gotten into iR that much (lucky me! saving money)
Since the move from home country,I have spent 100€ on DFGT and ~60€ on servers (as the laptop I needed for other reasons too, won't count it in this). That's it currently, when I get my own living place, new PC is planned. No interest to join that iRobbery, but could take a look at rF2 when I have that PC (so another 35€ planned to spend).
How much is the new PC going to set you back?

S2 license ~20-28 € i guess
Thrustmaster T500RS ~500 €
T800rs shifter 200€
Logitec G25 300€

Hardware:
32" HD LED mainscreen 450€
2st 22"BenQ LED 120hz 180€*2= 360€
computer build 1500€

so yea.. shitload of cash..
Quote from Intrepid :How much is the new PC going to set you back?

No idea, will look at it when I have a place to put it. But deffinitely will stay under 4figure amount of € for the whole system.
S2 licence - 30€
Logitech G25 - 260€
Logitech G27 - free, got it from logitech when my G25 broke..

If I would count my computer setup, it would be an another 1000€+, but I didn't get my computer just for SIM racing, so that's that.
I still have around 500€ profit.
APretty much the only dedicated sim racing purchases are my G25 (£100 on special offer) and the racing games I've bought. My PC itself is for general gaming and work.
Just got my new simulator. It is quite hardcore as I use it for in real life practice (but also for work though).

Computer with three screens: 3400 euros
Fanatec Clubsport wheel base with F1 and BMW rims: 1020 euros
The new Obutto R3volution cockpit with tabletops and triple-screen mount: 840 euros

Sims:
LFS: 34 euros
iRacing: 560 euros
rFactor 2: 30 euros
netKar Pro: 15 euros?

Thats pretty much it... :-) I've had some wheels upon the years as well, but this is for my current stuff :-)
Total: ****ing way too much
Lots. New PCs, licences, wheels, special pedals... Probably several thousand directly attributable to sim racing. But not for a while now...
