Hello fellas LFSers its finally the time for me to buy myself a wheel, after almost one year of LFS.
I would like to know, how much costs the DFP brand new on spain, cause i have a friend whos goin there on april. The other way is to buy one from e-bay and import it to brazil, wich costs around 110-120 USD total. Wich one you guys think its better? And cheapest.

I used to spent hours playing lfs, but now i have to work college and a mean girlfriend who doesnt like lfs .
Well we have almost the same amount of people playing online as in the 1st days of s2, but as if we really have 25k linceses (can any1 confirm that?) the amount of online users is very low, less than 1/25th of the users is online at the same time, but them again since we have people all over the world, that sort of gets in the way for everyone to be online at the same time.

im runing with 1024x728, getting from 76 fps alone and 10-15 with full grid. I think the rate thing is on 60hz

I personally like hammer ideia. I think that, this way it will please more people, those who a deadly serious about racing, where to have access you have to have credits, and to rapair would cost points, with or w/o resets(warping to pits). And another area where you can do the things you can now in lfs, such as reseting your car, free damage, and no restrictions to get in.

The down side about this is that will split the comunity ingame, so meaning that will have even more empty servers on the free side (wich we already have today)

Unfortunally the demo servers is nothing like the s2 servers, is way better at s2. IN demo there are some good servers too, but unfortunally on demo there are those who only wants to ruin others people race.
You will see the dramastic change in between the behaviour.

Hmm the idi stands for idiots, wich the only thing they do is wreck other people (wow how fun is that??). I have 600 down 150 up i get within 250-300 ms for euro servers and 60-70 to brazilian servers.

Those details are cool to have, but are they really that important? I mean i think we should (the devs) worry first about the physics,weather effects and stuff like that them those effects. Well its cool to have those effects, would be cool to have them but since lfs its a bit over 50% done we have bigger issues to think about.

Just a quick reminder those setups were made to last 5 laps long at tops, so u might not want to use them in long term races.

just so u know, u should not go faster than 80km/h/50mph, stay under those speeds, and u should be fine

depends where you live.. on brazil there are LOTS of 1000cc racing, either with slicks, or road tires...

But yeah would be nice to have another car to race against the xfg/xrg
