There is/was an app called something like LFS MM which analyzed mprs the way you'd like (accidents, close fights) but I can't remember who created that. Maybe you could contact the author once you've found out who the person is.
Could we have a google video link please? Youtube sucks hard and so does my PC. edit:Hey Youtube managed to process the video after 16 hours!
Nice vid, my favourite is still the ky3 moe though
I have a little crackling when I switch to chase cam but only since patch V so I wouldn't think CPU has to do anything with it as I haven't changed mine. It is an AMD Sempron 2800+ though my Windows need reinstalling after about five years' service I suppose it can slow down the PC considerably.
Although it would be unexpected extra work for the devs I think (and hope) they will agree on doing it. An incompatible patch is looming on us and we might just get the DP1 with it. I suppose it would postpone the patch release date but... who cares if we get to drive that?
Thanks KeiichiRX7 for the effort
Gameplay updates! I want to tell my crew which tyre to change! Or tyre wear should be indicated in percentages in the F9 menu. Nothing more for me for now. edit: that sounds weird
So Sprint 2 in an UFR... Considering a rather long race and not just a pickup one, your tyres will evaporate
But So configurations are generally hard because on other tracks you can brake a little earlier and take the turn a little slower... at So you'll most likely faceplant the wall if you try that. You either take the turn perfectly or blow it completely.

Reason : break and brake... bah
They alter the weight transferred to the outside wheels in a turn. If the load is more, the grip is more, thus the tyres will heat more.
This makes sence to me but I can't remember where I read it so if it's BS then sorry
If you are mostly concerned about your tyres, set harder anti roll bars (keeping the front-rear ratio if you want to keep the handling) or reduce wing angles - tyres won't heat as much, you'll need to take turns slower but you might make up for that on the straights. I wouldn't recommend using a harder compound but I know Westhill boils tyres with pretty much any car. Increase camber just a little bit.
I have minimal understanding of setups but I hope I could help.
That would be giving out team tactics
How about limiting the number of cars at say 16? I think one of the reasons MoE runs long tracks is to avoid lapping and thus 'unnecessary' slow pace. With a short track such as Ky2 it might be a good idea to have less cars but that would take some of the fun away.
I think team mates will keep in touch via TS or Ventrilo anyway so the driver can tell the other one when to connect. Of course spectators need to (be) disconnect(ed) to let others switch drivers.
This is more complicated than I thought
I'm in then
As a privateer*

*May change if I get a buddy to side with me, I should be able to tell you before March, hope that's ok.
Even on a server with 20+ slots you can only have 20 cars on the track at one time. Race stewards obviously don't need a car but the safety car is a car actually on the track. So if you have 20 racers (cars) racing on the track, you cannot get the safety car in.
Personally I don't think there's a need for a safety car but you are the organisers of course
Did you mean
-10 teams, 2 racers in one car, rest of the 10 slots for privateers
-10 teams, 4 team members in 2 cars
That is of course if taking over is allowed, if not then I don't think I'm capable of participating
Oh and if all 20 cars are racing then you won't be able to get the safety car in.
I'm interested but would like to know a few things:
-What is the event called?
-Will there be restrictions concerning car use? Like minimum of 3 each?
-When/how would the qualification be done?
Suggestions:
-Ky2 reversed
-Force racers to use their real names (for a race this serious it would be nice)
I certainly hope the devs didn't get rid of those early projects, they mean something valuable for us LFS fans that outsiders wouldn't be able to understand
Excellent skin man! Maybe the mirrors could be something from the base colours and not something totally different and the sponsors should be a little bit smaller but that's just my opinion. Nice work nontheless.
I use an FOV that lets me see most of the side mirror from cockpit view. This is one of the reasons I don't drive the BF1 which requires a ridiculous FOV. And no, I refuse to use anything virtual
Me too but I doubt it's true. If the Devs make/plan to make their living out of this* (which I assume they do, I might be wrong) they will have to do something about this slow progress. I mean yeah LFS is the best sim at the moment with only three people achieving this but who said nobody else can make something as good as LFS?
The only thing LFS will always be better at is its community and the Devs' quick responses/support.
*if this is not true and LFS stays a hobby then ignore my post
