personally, i hate every time ken block makes these videos... every time he does, we see an influx of demo (-or worse) users wanting free skins and engine sounds.

i don't think you necessarily need the profiler, i installed it when i installed my g25.

apparently you can get it from here.

so the wheel itself works, but nothing else? maybe you need to turn off "combined pedals" and turn on "shifter", and then start calibrating the axii.

Quote from squidhead :pontiac aztec

i know people said they were ugly, but i didn't see what the brou-ha-ha was all about... granted the trunk area was a little square, but that's just more room for your coolers and duffel bags.

do you have profiler installed?

what problem exactly are you having with it? some info might be helpful.

Quote from dadge :you can also unlock the 4th core with that motherboard too. check the gigabyte site for a bios update.

providing it's not busted. personally, i'd rather not take the risk of quirky software errors, and buy a proper chip.

what was wrong with the murano or the pathfinder? it's a shame how car companies make up a new market by making a vehicle slightly smaller or bigger than it's predecessors.

Quote from Jakg :But of course in gear you slow down much much more - but it's usually a better idea to leave it in gear.

oh boy, i remember that conversation...

i think the consensus was that you could drive away faster if you left it in gear, but it actually brought up the topic of "does engine braking waste fuel", so didn't we cover this all already?

a tv show i was watching about go karts showed a kart stopping within 10 meters because he did this weird spin, but i don't think i would want to try that on a normal road, especially in a car, i'd be worried about rolling it.

Quote from Esrever :I remember seeing a photo of a new LFS interface/layout with a new (yellow/black?) LFS logo in the "Rockingham spotted in LFS at BTCC race [formerly: Great jobs Devs - LFS rocks!] " tread, but I can't find it anymore.
Does anyone have a link to this photo or was it perhaps removed by the devs?

there were some pictures removed from that thread, but i can't remember the reason why.

it won't because the master server doesn't know your internal network scheme... it only affects people who connect to your server from your own network, and nobody else.

now there is a way around this, but if you're using a store-bought router, it won't be possible... and that would be to send any outgoing traffic destined for yourself back into your network. (edit: unless this is what amp was talking about)

or you can just connect using an ip address.

the maximum for the per-connection (carshost/carsguest) settings is 3 (or was it 4)...

besides, the cpu power required to make all the ai calculations would crush the system if you were allowed to add more, which would make the connection lag, and if there were 15 lagging cars on the track, it would just be a complete mess.

Quote from Kyle_Katarn :ouhh yeah, now I undestood why I cant join more tha 1 ia from the grid configuration screen. The ia count as 1 person in the server and then I cant join more than 1 ia,
thats right?

yeah. if you want to keep an ai from joining, you need an insim application to do that.

(i could have sneaked this into another thread, but meh.)

it's been said on these forums that us users have utter contempt for the LFS developers...

how's this for contempt?
