wow, i'd really hate to be this guy... apparently he has $250K stuck in limbo by the feds...

yes, i can confirm that range should be fine. the problem is, that i also host SSH accounts here, and some people can't secure their systems enough to prevent the propagation of SSH spam/DDoS bots, so I just block the ranges associated with those networks.

lfs doesn't have any v8's outside of the single-seater racers. the video you posted contains a "vob mod" which is not allowed to be discussed here.

Quote from Bean0 :Was this not also true of the BnJ layouts that CTRA used ?
I'm sure it's come up before.

i don't see what the big deal is, f1's lights aren't predetermined either... if anything they should completely randomize the time between all-red and green. that way people can't try jumping the gun on race start.

720 is still nice for those occasions where you want to turn around quickly at slow speeds... i guess it all depends on how fine you want the control to be.

no lfs, no care... i'm not going to install iracing or rfactor for some random league.

one thing i thought about this thing is the physical requirements... if i had them, i don't think i'd be simracing.

when you click multiplayer, there is an option marked "window while connecting", it always resets itself every patch.

does it still act funny with it off?

it's not a problem with the ip itself, it's the range the ip's are in... i still need your ip address to determine what CIDR block you're in.

pm me your ip address, and i'll look into it.

some championship that claims to turn simracers into real racers.
figure 8 racing - now with less moonbounce!

since Z30 has improved object collisions, i think this is the best time for me to bring back my figure 8 server...

it's currently running TBO's (FXO-3%), and the only restriction AIRIO enforces is that you need to use street tires. (no using rally tires for cheap traction effects)

depending on turnouts, i may decide to hold weekly/monthly events.

enjoy!

funny that you'd find that in a programming book.

sometimes locational data can be useful to cell phone companies, but i don't see why apple/google should care where i use their phones, regardless of how they get or what they do with that data.

i forget if this was in lfs, or if it was an addon-outsim, but i could swear there is a light that shows up when the tank gets to 10%... i could be wrong.

Quote from ldriver :I have watched the replay posted by gener al and it made me sad; narrow streets , ramps , people wrecking each other...
If LFS goes this way i wont even bother trying the patch.
I really enjoy Iracing more and more even with its overpriced policy.

umm... lfs has had autocross ramps for ages now... and same goes for wreckers. your post is moot. go back to iracing, you troll.

i'm glad i watched through the lag...

that whole windmill section looks awesome, i can't believe it's been hidden away for so long. actual street curbs... brick sidewalks... the unobstructed urban scenery... that would be an awesome track if they finished it.

i had the vista beta on my laptop (p4m-2.0, 1gb ram) some ages ago and when it booted, it used ~900mb just to boot to the desktop. opening IE (or any program for that matter) would push it into swap.

i refuse to buy RAM so the OS can pig it all. i know you can go in and strip down all the services, but i shouldn't effing have to do that. since W2K is EOL, i'll probably be one of the last users of XP... after that, i don't even know what i'll do, because there is no way i'm buying a computer with 4gb of memory just so windows can use it all, instead of all the other bloaty apps people create these days...
