I sold my simracing stuff today. Haven't been playing LFS (for obvious reasons), and I needed the room in my apartment for some electronics projects I'm working on, so it had to go.

Sad to see it go, but I haven't used in a year and a half probably, and I'm actually quite surprised someone wanted it. Wound up selling it for $300, which was less than I wanted, but it was better than throwing it out, considering I paid close to a grand for the complete PlaySeat Evo set (shifter, seat adjuster, shifter bracket, floor mat).

you know, it's funny... i thought about installing fsx on my prescott today, but didn't because i figured it would take all day to get it working right... and now ms flight is out. i might download it to try it, but if it only has a couple planes and a small parcel of unfamiliar land, i'll stick to fsx.

youtube changed how their player downloads content.

if you pause it, it will download a small portion then stop. i don't know if they employ any sort of rate limiting though.

i was looking on the internet and it seems exchange needs active directory to run, so if the machine isn't on the domain, or is itself a domain controller, chances are you won't be able to install exchange.

edit: you also might need to give it a proper FQDN. "machinename.local" doesn't count.
