No I haven't noticed anything. It could have something to do with the sound file your using, try fiddling with the settings, or change the sound. The GTR's sound a bit weird, but they certainly shouldn't beep

Yeah it's a great thing to save up for. I was lucky enough to recieve mine from a good friend, free of charge. Some S2 users that have the cash, put together competitions for an S2 voucher, I'm sure some might pop up, as Christmas is right around the corner.

Just a few weeks ago a great friend of mind lost control of the wheel and rolled off a side road into the lake, unfortunately he didn't make it. His parents were more upset about the car, then his death...

Also my friend just got into a head on collision in his moms 04' Buick Regal, REALLLLL nice luxury car, and it was supercharged! The accident wrote the car off, but insurance is covering any costs.

I'm taking a guess here as I've never dealt with servers before, but wouldn't they give better latancy timings then higher spec, higher size DDR2 chips?

Yeah dude, since the 8800 GT came out, it seems like all you GTS guys got OWNED... I wonder how quick e-bay will spring up of dirt cheap DX10 cards.

There's a rough improv that I came back to (added compression, some equalization, a touch of reverb, and panned the channels) It sounds really natural, and was meant to show off a 'direct' tone of my guitar. Mind you that was done *guitar*>*computer* so theres no pre-amp or modulation...

Yeah it does help smooth out the more 'choppy' textures, and texture joining found in LFS. I've played on 1680x1050 on a 22" and I must say, even without AA you still notice the jagged 'stairs' in the cockpit, and throughout the track, but 2x solved that, anything higher didn't make too much of a 'wow' difference...

I got passed on the bus to school a few days ago by an eclispe, with a 4" fart can, peeling grimey white paint, and fake chrome hubcaps...
The license plate read "NOT RICE"...-.O...

^It usually depends on how much voltage you want to put in it at stock voltage. 2v won't give you 3-3-3-9 at 800mhz... But usually 2.2 will do the trick, sometimes 2.3

PS, how good are OCZ stock lately, their Gold XTC and Platinum XTC series looks pretty promising for 1000mhz at decent timings...

HAXXING IS BAD! Nobody can assume Harjun has a pwned version of Vista, I for one, believe it is a legit copy, as was his XP copy. Nobodys here to break laws...

Yeah Jakg it's all kept clean of course, a lot of useful habits (Cleaning registry, tidy up service list, manage processes, defragging, partitioning, disabling unneeded effects, managing page file..the list goes on) I've been meaning to pick up another stick, because it is pissing me off, but I bet slimming my O/S down from a perfectly kept copy of XP to a stripped down, lighter XP, will free up alot of RAM.

Dude thats not too bad...
As for the nLite stuff, would I feel the difference going from a basic Windows XP SP2 instal to a nice stripped down nlite version with only 256MB of RAM?

Hmm Jakg, I've been meaning to put together a light copy of XP to install on my system, could you maybe shoot some links my way to help me set up such a thing?

Guitar playing is seriously something worth looking into. The main reason I picked one up was to 'escape reality' but after a while it just turned into a vent of the bad things in life, and a boost in the good things. It lets you expand emotions, store them in your instrument.

I'm probably the youngest one posting in this thread, but I must say, do NOT turn to drugs. I tried it, and honestly it feels great, I'm not gonna lie. But after a while you realize just how deep you dug yourself... You start getting dependent, things start becoming harder to feat, your motivation crumbles and your general 'tone' will drop through the floor.

Talking with people you get along with helps too, and I don't mean any deep emotional conversations, just nice friendly chats with old friends really helps ease your mind.

But I think the main thing to consider is point of view. Take a look at the life around you, you'll realize just how good you have it compared to some others. Maybe not around your campus, but read about stuff going on around Toronto, it will shock you. Some of the things people have to deal with daily is just insane.

A lot of us here are willing to help you with your doom cloud, and feel free to drop me a line anytime if you must, I'm always up for a chat.

Keep up the positive attitude and things will start to get better, we'll all here for you

Yeah dude stop being a douche. An overclocked CPU won't die after a month, especially considering it's still on stock voltage. If say it was a quad at 1.8volts on cheap liquid or good air cooling then yes, your lookng at a short life. Theres no such thing as MORE stable. If something can pass a 24 orthos test it is stable, theres no real 'competition' of who's CPU is more stable...

Yeah it's a pretty weak card to begin with. Even if you overclocked it to the max, you probably won't see much of an improvement. Whats the rest of your system like? Tightening the RAM, and overclocking the CPU does give you a decent boost if your systems getting old and tired, although there is a point to draw the line

I don't think it would be worth it, honestly. The controllers are just molded plastic with buttons on it. Making one out of wood wouldn't give you better 'feel' because its all cheap anyways. I can't even get over the whole craze, it's cheaper to pickup a knock-off acoustic and learn tunes on that, rather then spend over $100 for the game (another few hundred on the system if you want to think that way)

So Al, about this jam?
