Why can't you play LFS without a soundcard? I play without sound to same frames whenever I have cars making dust infront of me. As for Falcon, I couldn't make any sense of your post...

^Why not? They have some nice ones out now. the 7950 GT is good, 8600 GTS is a decent DX10 card, but the 8800GTS is better idea if you have the cash. There is also the 7900GS that is decent once it's overclocked.

Well as soon as it crashes, pop off your case cover and feel around the card, is it hot? Is your heatsink and fan working properly. Worst case senario pop a 80 or 120mm fan under the card to help cool it untill you can get a hold of ATi to get them to replace your card (if it is damaged and overheating)

^Isn't it fun answering questions like that...Yeah, alot of modern cards use GDDR3 memory, its faster then GDDR2, but the memory chips are ON the GPU, so it has no affect with whats on your motherboard as lon as you have the PCI-E slot (Which P35 boards have)

Fresh install. If theres an error that don't get picked up in a replay, it's gotta be a bug in your install. That would be really cool to rip around in tiny cars tho...

Wow, goes to show that if you PRESENT yourself and your item properly, you will have alot better success selling said item. I bet that guy is pissed right off about now...

Just took a quick glance at the episode. Really good, I did notice in all the LFS shots menu's weren't taken away, such a small thing but SHIFT+F = ownage.

You could try using a mouse to steer. It's a really common thing here. But the key is, don't give up on it right away, let yourself get used to it first. 1920x1200 seems like quite the resolution for a 7800. But experiment with AA & AF settings.

Yeah I've done it...didn't really work too well LOL. it was XTREME HAXX....as a newb. Long story really, haha, lets just say once upon a time I was a dumbass with a Windows 95 office platform.

Just take your drift setup, throw the braking power more to the rear, and your set. Let them out a few laps to get used to the set, they will try and brake hard (causing the back end to kick out) so they counter steer to keep the car together, it turns into a decent drift. I noticed after 30-40 laps of that they got used to the setup and could drift a lap or two decently. Fun to twin beside.

Extreme is co2 or nitrogen cooling, or perhaps making a CPU out of highly skilled uber efficient monkeys, overclocking is a problem as you must get into the case to feed more bananas to the monkeys

On topic note, whats the performance gap between a x1950 Pro and a XT? (Asuming they are both 256 or 512)
Some Specialized skateboard style helmet, its had its fair share of dings. ATM I have no bike so it just sits there collecting dust. I'll go see if I can find it and post a picture.

Check out the 650i northbridge chip. Supports 1333mhz FSB. Overclocks great. Lots of stuff in the bundle usually. 8-channel HD audio, 3gig SATA, gigabit lan, only one PCI x16.

Ehh..damn Americans How do you find the people of Alberta BBT? My family went to Red Deer last summer and I thought it was a pretty chill place to reside. Never found any hippies though haha
~Bryan~
Well yes, and no. Your PC is probably crashing because theres not enough power to the main components so it shuts itself down. Getting a new PSU won't help your GPU perform any better, it will just be more stable.
Off topic...it would be nice if you proof read your posts before posting them, they are hard to read...

EDIT: Checked out your DXDIAG file, realized your that dude running the 7900 GS. Great cards, Although AFAIK lack of power to a GPU doesn't cause it to perform under-par, just crash. But anyways, just buy a bloody 500watt PSU and be done with your problems.
Depends on your PC specs. Some GPUs don't support temperature monitoring. Everest: Home Edition works wonders. You can download a trial version (just google it) It will give you any information about anything to do with your computer.
