Rest in peace Colin, you will be missed. Rally was an art for him, he never 'hung on' to the corners, he went balls deep and made sure that corner got its ass kicked. He would never see a rally stage with fear. He was always the one to take things beyond the limits. Sure, he's wrecked a few cars, and crashed out on stages, but its Colin McRae, 'nuff said. He was the only man who would actually toy with the limits of the car, that's what made him a great champion. It's not too often you see somebody as fast, or smooth of driver as Colin was. May his soul live on, and inspire youngsters to get out and do something as amazing as what he accomplished. It's a shame he had to leave us that way, and not give us an amazing '08 season. I bet it would have been one for the books.

Rest in peace.

Could simply be your CPU overheating, or getting errors. When I was first overclocking my chip I hit a fsb wall where it would randomly BSOD, and restart if under hard load, even though my PSU was fine, my RAM, and my HD. I never knew why for the longest time, I thought my computer was completely toast, then I passed the FSB wall at about 130mhz and my chip is running as smooth as glass. **I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS** If I unplugged my heatsink, and let my chip start-up, it would just get hotter and hotter, BSOD, and restart. Even though we have limited knowledge about your problem, I'm going to go with a heat issue, so just check the heatsink, make sure its seated, monitor load temps, all that jazz.

PS...None of us are 'making fun of you', some of us just pointed out that it's hard for us to give you specific help when we don't have specific info. At least you are making an attempt to get your point across

PC seems fairly new as the E2140 is a fairly new chip. Check out tempuratures in BIOS, just to make sure it's not overheating, because LFS would heat up a CPU a lot faster then CS:S would. Also, why don't you have any overclocks? The 650i is good for 450mhz FSB at least, and I've seen 2140's go hella high on stock voltage, with stock coolers. One thing you really should do is take a look on the side of the PSU, it should give you all the technical specs of it, product codes, and such, to help you find more info on it.

Still reppin' the same old shit...

- Intel Celeron 2.2ghz @ 2.6ghz (stock vcore)
- Asus P4S533-MX (533mhz fsb, AGP 4x, PCI)
- Onboard SiS Graphics (REAL shit, clocked 150/150, stealing 16MB RAM)
- 240MB DDR 266mhz RAM
- 40GB ATA-100 Harddrive (never let me down, it's getting ripped out of this and put into my new PC)
- LG DVD-RW (Brand new IDE drive, will stay with me when I get a new PC)

I can get 15-20fps in LFS when alone on single player (800x600x32, everything down, low res textures) On multiplayer I get anywhere between 2-20, depends if theres more then 1 car in view.

Yo man just take that hunk of scrap plastic to the computer repair store. You'll probably get ripped off when they realize how n00b you are, but hey, your fault. Something probably got disconnected, or something wasn't re-assembled correctly. Get them to look at it, and remind them to password protect the BIOS and don't tell you the password

Maybe we can spread the word far enough for Dell to come out with a Harjun limited edition XPS laptop, with locked BIOS, and formed ONE PIECE construction, to ensure the best protection against overclocking. That way the n00bs can waste their money on something they won't **** up

Dude, your the guy that had all those other threads? You got new RAM? Try using one new stick alone, if it still crashes it's your RAM. If tempuratures are okay it won't be the heatsink. I doubt the actual processor is causing this. It could be the motherboard however, there are other factors to consider. I believe it may well be a harddrive issue. I wouldn't like to recomend reformating as it's a pain the ass, and we don't even know if it IS the HD. So keep that in mind.

^Weeerd, welcome to the good side. But in all seriousness, why even go through the bother with overclocking a laptop. The performance gain doesn't really justify all the work needed to keep it from overheating, or giving boot errors, or artifacting. Desktop PC's FTW!

PS, I also LOL'd and danowat's post...then frowned when I realized if I found that funny, I need to get laid...

Harjun are you really fourteen? Or is there a mistake in your profile? And by the way that was a serious questions...
A little more on topic, once you boot up the laptop check out the temps at LOAD and see if the laptop is overheating still...

Yes, said a million times. Just make sure the heatsink is on firm and tight, and that the clips are properly engaged...

Damn dude we've already made it as easy as we can for you. We gave you pictures, we had numerous people give different explanations (all of which would work) yet you still don't get it. If you cannot apply a little tube of silver substance to a flat surface, at the age of?... then you seriously should re-consider your weekend hobbies. How you managed to waste an ENTIRE can of compressed air is beyond me, I have a 10oz can of the stuff right beside me and its lasted months, and I use it regularly on my printer, my stereo, and my DSL modem (cat likes to wander around the computer desk) You probably screwed something up by spraying the COLD and WET LIQUID co2 onto your computer. Just give up, seriously. Take whats left of your laptop to the local computer store, get them to repair it, lock the BIOS for you, and let you carry on with your life. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I find it unreal how somebody can be so stupid and thick-headed.

You're not supost to shake it...did you read the side of it first? Just spray straight or on a slight angle, you're starting to spray out the actual liquid in the container, that's not a good thing. Just quick bursts too. To prevent the can from cooling down too rapidly. Jeez, you screw up everything you touch...

No I'm being series, I've used it to clean my printer (this was a bit of a careful task) As long as you know that theres cold compressed air coming out at a high velocity (no putting against skin, or near anything that might get harmed)

Looks like a basic co2 canister. Just compressed air, won't really harm anything. Works great on my old 478heatsink when I cleaned it, spray it under the keyboard cracks, real handy thing to have around when repairing older computers.

^Uhh dude, check out other game demos. How many offer three cars (with full colour and setup options) Two tracks (one hard, one dirt, with different configurations, and different times of day and wind conditions) Not to meantion the online. Basically put, the LFS demo is a damn beefy demo...a little too beefy if you ask me...
