Yeah perhaps. All the REAL budget boards are lucky to get a 300fsb wall, no matter what memory or vcore. I'm happy with the eVGA 650i with my fresh build (mmm, tastey E4400)

Which way are the fans flowing, you should have one in the front pulling air in, the other pushing it out the back, check the heatsink on the CPU, make sure its seated properly with some thermal paste (Artic Silver FTW!)

That MX1000 looks really wide, did that take some getting used to? Like man, my mouse drops right off after the end of the top buttons.

Wow...thats pretty harsh. Yeah, I know people who have made a habit of drumming on the mouse buttons, or pull at them from the front of the mouse.

Naw, I'm talking computer mice. What style are you 'representing' right now? Me, I'm with the red microsoft laser on cord, worked good for 4 years, can't complain.

^Not to sound like a douche, but I have never used any of those (or any other for that matter...) A/V or Norton, or any of that other crap on my Windows XP Home OEM edition, came with my computer 5 years ago, reformatted 3 years ago. Installed all the updates, only used FF, deleted IE, Only used Ares for p2p stuff, and used SP2 firewall. I've never gotten a virus, excpet once I accidently clicked the wrong .exe link and it installed some shit virus that I just had to Ctrl+alt+delete, wipe it from the processes and it was gone. I don't get how people get sooo infected with stuff ovver the course of a month even.

^Well, the only thing I don't like is the motherboard, we arn't even sure if he NEEDS a new motherboard, AFAIK any board that can handle the Pentium D series handles 800mhz Core 2's, and can run Core 2's (not said, but proven) when manually setting fsb to 1066. But even if he gets a new board, that IL9 won't be much of an overclocker...

Check to make sure all your fans are working good. Sounds like errors from overheating. Could be your PSU crapping out...could be lots of things. More then anything it sounds like its GPU related, check it. Does it look okay? Is it plugged in all the way? Does the heatsink work properly? Fire up ATi Tool and check out your gaming temperatures. Check back here.

Sounds about right, your CPU is uber shit. Low amount of RAM and a sketchy GPU doesn't help the situation either. Theres not really much you can do about that other then upgrade hardware.

Oh dude come on...that wasn't even too hard of a bail. And why the hell are you ripping a bike like that off something like that? That landing looks sketchy at best, some fat rubber and a soft front end looks like the way to go for that. Looks like biker guy needs to go back to the basics before trying stuff like that again

Back on the topic of hippies (this thread drifted, like, Tokyo Drift-ed off topic) You ever notice how they think that playing music in a circle, and getting high off herb is their way to "stick it to the man" and "Help change the world" Do any of you see how that works? I'm still trying to figure it out myself...

midget was what they classed the grade 9's, or the 14 year olds. Whatever way you want to look at it.

Haha thats why I only smoke the bong lately, cool smoke, filtered through the slide, filtered through the water, it really is a CLEAN hit. I used to smoke out of pipes or roll a joint, but I have become attatched to my bong, and now I know why long term stoners say "rip the bong, its better in the long run."

Lol while we're talking about drugs, what is your feeling on smoking? I personally have a few smoker friends and I get offered cigarettes anytime we smoke up, or just out and about, I always say no, except for an after-toke (cigarette after smoking up, for me it helps even out the high, and eliminate the burnout effect) Do you guys feel thats an "unwise" choice, I don't think I would get addicted, because I never have the urge, and it's always ever offered, I'm never asking for it. I do Track & Field to stay in shape (ran a 12.6 second 100m, jumped 5.45m long, and 10.20m triple as a midget in grade 9) so do you think smoking cigarettes would ever "catch up on me"?

Yess but that was AMERICAN, this is Canadian pricing. As for waking up high, it's posible, if I'm having a late night on the computer, I could pack up a nice personal in my bong, snap it off before going to bed, wake up buzzing, it really is a good feeling, nice for a sunday night/monday morning thing with school.

POT FTW!! But seriously...at $200 an ounce its really cheap. I can get a 1/4 for $50 and have it last me weeks. What I like about the drug is the sense of relaxation it gives you. It helps me face my 'problems' and sort them out in a rational manor. And like Ball Bearing Turbo pointed out, it is a lot better of a social drug then alcohol, the worst thing that can happen with a group of stoned people is running out of munchies, then you simply walk to get more munchies. As for people getting drunk, it's really unpredictable, I've seen people get violent and start picking fights, I've seen people get sexual and start cheating on loved ones, it sometimes makes people absolutely stationary, like, they can't even walk and have to be baby-sat. If you go to bed high, you get a DEEP sleep, wake up the next day feeling fine, or sometimes still a little high. What happens when you go to bed after a hard night drinking? Hang-overs. You feel like shit, why waste money on something that doesn't even feel good, or taste good for that matter?

Drop the E6700 and get something a bit lower down and O/C it nice and high. I believe those GA-P35-DS3P's have a pretty high FSB wall. Going 450plus. So yeah, going for something a bit lower 'class' could save you almost $100. The ram seems decent price, shop for some OCZ, they may be cheaper. Cheers on the build.
~Bryan~
EDIT: After looking at newegg (I'm Canadian, I use tiger-direct) I found an E4300 for $121, that will match the 1333mhz FSB of that Chip, get it a 3ghz clock speed, then you could start pushing easy/safe limits)

Well guys...I got the hippie hair cut off today. It was with me from my scary journy of the end of grade 6, summer before grade 7, grade 7, summer before grade 8, all grade 8, trimmed it for grad, all of summer before grade 9, and all this summer. It was nice and comfortable, it suited me, I was one with the hair. And I got it cut today and I personally feel it looks like sheet, so I'm kinda fumed, plus bummed out, the good news is at least I found my 2112 LP, woo, go Rush.

I've heard good things about OCing those cards. As for Volt modding, I don't consider it 'hardore' overclocking, as long as you know what your doing it's all good. But I don't think any newer ATi or Nvidia card has cooling able to handle any DECENT volt mods.

Um...not certain on the PSU, any DECENT 450-500watt PSU will do. As for RAM, I've always been an OCZ fan. PC-6400 isn't really nessesary for what you are doing, some cheaper PC-5400 will work. You could just get a 1024MB stick, or go for a pair of 2x1gb sticks if you want to spurldge the cash. As for CPU, an E4300, E4400, E6300, E6400, or even those new Pentium E2160's will do. And they will overclock decently, even with a shit motherboard (266-280mhz fsb, not hardcore, but cool if your n00b) I'm canadian so I wouldn't really know where to look for UK product.

I'm not too sure with Vista, but when booting from the XP disc it gives you the option to format your harddrive before installing XP on it. I'd have to look up if it's the same for Vista. If your using two harddrives you can re-format your secondary harddrive as long as it's not being used.
