Quote from Don :I work in a local advertising company as some kind of "universal" guy.. my job includes all kinds of photoshop work, retouching, desktop publishing (indesign), websites designing & programming, photographing, stitching panoramas, creating virtual tours, video editing etc. - sounds good? it sucks

LOL you don't have to tell me..
A few years ago I was working at this one place and they had an order to make a sign for this guy that had a digital print. It was sort of a cool sign... had neon accents on the pole and like I said, a big digital print, featuring the the owner of the business holding a chainsaw (to show he was CUTTING PRICES). I thought this guy is a real slimeball... so I gave his picture camel toe.... That didn't go over too good.
I like where I'm at now... I don't do much conceptual design here, but it's a zillion times more challenging. And unlike the other places I been, These people love it that I like to work in the shop when I don't have any drawings to produce. The other places were afraid of me getting hurt - thus putting their art dept. in limbo.

small garage deown at the end of my road... bmw/merc specialist... they had me doing services and small crappy jobs all day

hopefully i can find someone who will harness my usefulness
So it was an Indi I take it?

The crappy jobs and usually the ones that turn into bigger and better jobs. Making the tea > full mechanic > Garage foreman

Do they have a site?
Jesus Christ, why are you so hard on him about his job?

Its very easy to get a job working in a garage around here if you are around 14-whatever years of age...
Who's being hard on who. Sorry, I forgot asking simple questions was considered rude...

Quote from The General Lee :So it was an Indi I take it?

He didn't answer my question, so I asked again.

Quote from The General Lee :The crappy jobs and usually the ones that turn into bigger and better jobs. Making the tea > full mechanic > Garage foreman

A little "advice" for the little man. Saying, don't be put off/embarrassed by the crappy jobs as there are loads of success stories about people starting out in the "mail room" or making tea, then becoming a top manager of some sort...

Quote from The General Lee :Do they have a site?

Everyone else has posted a website address to the company they work for etc. As a BMW owner, I would like to see it as I have seen quite a few websites of BMW garages.

Example one - My local main dealer.
Example two - My local indi.
Example three My local parts dealer.

You have obviously tarred me with a brush, and it's the wrong one.
Hmm I for one wouldn't want him anywhere near my car. Anyway I digress..

Director at a private property sales company. Also run a small website design business and I'm a student too.
