works fine with the HD mod and the MrM mods but when I try to use the sanguine texture pack minecraft crashes.

Make sure you do exactly as the guide says:

choose your .minecraft.jar file in the "Output" field
Do not choose anything in the texture pack field.
choose 128 x 128 as the size in Xau's patcher.
Tick all three "animated xyz" options.
Leave the "custom xyz" options un-ticked.
Press the "Patch button" and let it complete.
Quit Xau's HD texture patcher.

Found a great cave system, towards the desert from the main area - there's a lake with a steep hill next to it - it's next to there.

I found a mass of obsidian down there where lava and water had spawned next to each other, but had no diamond pick, so it's still there.

I can't believe that it's gone :weeping:
