The online racing simulator
I've played many NFS games over the years (I didn't buy them, my brother seems to like them)

I'd hardly say i'm a fan boy either... I've just been brought up around genuinly fast cars (not bodykitted up boyracer shit)... so games like NFS come across as COMPLETLY AND UTTERLY SHIT .. Well the latest ones anyway, earlier ones were just piss poor

I'd much rather go get the ps1 down from the loft and start playing TOCA 2.... + it has Donington on it
Hehe I accept your opinion but do not agree the first ones are piss poor
Neverthless, I am too drunk to do anything, and for my peace of mind and forum, I'll go to bed after a solid round of porn.
Good night Nick, sorry if I were a little harsh on 'ya, just do not agree on your opinion
You can never be too harsh on me!... I like it that way

and you're drunk.. I am so taking advantage!
Rofl, rough guy eh.. Guess there is no need for rubber then...

Oh well, NOW I need to sleep because my brain has completely shut down.. more than normal that is!
Well, if he can provide valuable feedback regarding physics, sure, why not? I sure as hell are not going to test out the drift part, but I don't see anything bad about it either, you can most likely chose not to do it if 'ye not want.
Well..

Quote from Review :Does the Shift version of the Si feel like the same one that I've been driving since late 2006? Not exactly, and I would even say that the version of it from Forza 2 (via DLC) that I had driven only days prior felt more realistic.

good news is it supports G25 clutch aswell should be pretty descent game
Havent read the thread but i want to know if

Does it have FFB and does it accualy have counter steer?
Quote from Töki (HUN) :Handling looks crap, tbh. Grid anyone?

You are talking about crap handling, and then ask for GRiD?

He compared the physics in NFS Shift to GRiD's I tend to agree judging from the videos.
Ohhhhh, Now I see. Exuse me. Yeah, looks same, crap.

So many negative things I find with that E3 video posted.

* The testing guy can't drive at all, and he's using a gamepad.
* Too many aids used, so we can't see how the handling really is like.
* You would think that with all those collisions and horrid driving, that the R35 GTR he was using would had so much engine bay damage, not to mention that there was no interior damage at all, (one of the doors should have been pushed in).
* The steering seems to never be more than a quarter turn in any direction.
* The cars seem slide prone at times.
* That Subaru Impreza WRX STi the tester hit at T11 seemed to be pushed unrealistically, (a little like the arcade Burnout).
* Etc, etc.

I have GRID, and in a blurred comparison, they seem similar, but again, Grid isn't perfect from what I listed at all.

EA's latest offering is an all too familiar polished-up sequel to Prostreet, consisting of semi-sim and semi-arcade elements.

It seems as though they should name it:

Need for Speed: ProGRID.

That's what I hate the most...

I completely agree with that. One of the first elements in Live for Speed that made me instantly love LFS was that I could turn the steering wheel all the way.

I second that. Same thing with me here, and i found LFS in a lan house while waiting for some friends... (Result: i spend half the time playing lfs and listening "Comeon dude, lets play DotA")

Back on topic, i don't know why they still keep with this 1/4 turning shit. Grid makes me think that the steering wheel actually represents the gamepad angle while turning, other that the real wheel direction... But still i like grid, its fun and you can blow stuff up.
nice. i'm still itching for the demo.
i hope it is good, thats all i have to say
That is one slick car menu. Much of an improvement over that stupid huge garage with the yellow light in Undercover.

Edit: wtf, Why did they allow fwd cars to be drift tuned?

Edit... again: Oh I was looking at the wrong place. They can't be drift tuned.
