Oh man! You get your little candy butt out there and get yourself some company, you have a personality that girls would love. Don't come crying to me because you can't get someone to narc at you all frikin day long!
The grass is always greener...I wish I had more freedom (been tied up for 20yrs) you prbably wish you had someone's spots to squeeze
Tell you what mate as long as you keep that face smiling your god will look after you, whatever that god may be to you!
Right don't get me wrong, I really love LFS I have just driven LFS most of this evening and then gone for a few laps in the Radical at iRacing. There really is no comparison! With the FFB up and on 3 monitors iRacing is in a different league when it comes to feeling like your in a real car, tracks and the FFB that is provided. I cannot believe, infact I don't believe that there can be any arguments about this.
However, although I believe for driving iRacing is without a doubt tops, their set-up mechanism and tyre modelling is ....well lets say not the best and needs a lot of work.
Setting the car for your own driving in LFS is the way to go...if only iRacong could match this!
I would like to explain my feelings and thoughts more but as usual I'm quite drunk and can't be arsed.
For me sim racing is an enjoyable get away from real life...work sucks...I have to think alot...wife sucks , she hates sim racing, one disabled boy and another 14 year old daughter that's a frikin nightmare, although she takes her good looks from her father
Well sorry but Hamilton has signed to our next school race day in the egg and spoon race.
Quote: " Formula 1 has been a great training session but my main dream has always to race egg and spoon at Banchory Primary School, with the team we have and a shit hot egg we have a real chance of a gold badge this year"
Yep, fun sim. GTR Evo with all the GTL and GTR2 cars, added with the STCC cars and a fine version of Knockhill is pretty darned impressive. Even though on triple screens my graphics card struggles with it badly .
Better than rFactor IMO by a long way and no faffing about for 3 weeks to get the settings the way you want them.
There's a new update coming out soon with American tracks and muscle cars, for the cost of this from Simbin you really can't complain.
Mind you the iRacing Radicals make the GTR Evo Radicals feel pretty tame.
Come on guys support simbin at least they're hanging on in there with PC sims
Oh and I haven't found any better sim for racing against the AI! The online pick-up racing is not worth bothering about due too certain crashfest but there is a huge community to get involved with for private leagues and servers etc.
Got my mum up staying with us for a week and she made breakfast, I had one bacon and tomato roll and one bacon and egg roll...****in essence I tell ya...I love my mummy
Well I've been soley racing in the Radical and my SR was almost down into the 1's, not with incidents with others so much but just down to my carelesness, lack of concentration and stupidity, going off track and losing control by trying to push too hard.
So I had a long hard look at myself, decided not to race iRacing after a gallon of whisky, and had a determination to get my shit together. Safety ratings now back up at about 4.5
What I can say is that being a relentless midpacker myself it is often difficult to avoid incidents especially in the first few laps of the race, but with a bit of care it can be done and over time I think things average out. Blaming others for having a shitey SR gets no sympathy from me.
And Moose I really thought you liked getting rammed from behind? Well so Andy told me anyway :P
Edit: Anyone racing the 20:00 GMT Radicals at Lime Rock?
