The first round of NAS.CART 2011 was spectacular!32 cars on the grid fighting for victory. Wheel to wheel action, constant drafting with competitors, race strategy and some accidents were the ingredients of an intense race from start to finish. At the end 2009 NAS.CART champion J. Molina got the victory with impeccable strategy. In P2 R.Martinez had an unbelievable race starting 27th and racing his way to P2. J. Fernández was able to recover from two major accidents at the beginning of the race to close out the podium. Congratulations to the podium and all the participants.
Realistic NASCAR, the organization that brought the LFS community the World TBO Championship Series, now presents to the Live For Speed community the LX World Championships. This series will use the LX4 and LX6 on tracks such as Aston North Course (AS7), Kyoto GP Long (KY3), Fern Bay Gold (FE3), South City Long (SO4), Aston Classic Boot Course (A25), and Fern Bay Green Alternate (FE2*)These races will run for around a half hour in each car with separate twelve minute qualifying sessions for each all back to back.
Four weeks ago we hosted the 24 Hours of Kyoto GP reverse and now it is time for the official results. After watching the whole replay and adding all penalties to the tracker we are now able to announce the winners in all three classes. It has been a very close race in the GT2-Class but at the end the LowLandLions drove 606 laps and won. Second placed spdoRacing completed 605 laps and Team-Evo ended up third with 604 Laps.
Two weeks ago the World TBO Championship series was in Blackwood, and Elton Chong of Hong Kong had an eight point lead over Bosnia's Nikifor Dakovic. It looked as though it was going to be their day to shine once again as the two drivers started the race side by side in the front row, but from that point on it would prove to be anything but.
A week after the tragic loss of Dan Wheldon the entire racing community is still in the process of healing from the unfortunate events that transpired at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last week in the final round of the IZOD IndyCar Series.
Pete Hopkins is crowned champion of the OWRL F1 Series 2011. In the final round of the season the Brit never was far off the lead and sealed it by finishing on the podium. Different strategies and a lot of on track action made for a tense race. With one of his rivals, Adam Wisniewski, leading the race most of the time, Hopkins could not relax until he finally crossed the line in second place, winning the championship by 8 points.
Realistic NASCAR’s World TBO Championship Series takes the green flag for the third time this Sunday with the Blackwood 200. This is the shortest track that the series will have used to date, and if the optimistic outlook of Race Director Cameron Corns says anything this is going to be the most exciting race to date.

After defeating the field in qualifying with a lap under world record time, it looked like it would be another run away victory for Elton Chong and his Number 76 XRT, but once again he was unable to maintain the lead on cold tires, and by the time that he entered turn number two he was in second place behind My3id Gaming's Nikifor Dakovic.

Sure, a good showing on the long and fast Kyoto GP Long course (reversed) means something. Just ask Elton Chong who currently holds a seven point lead over Nikifor Dakovic heading into this weekend's Aston 150 after dominating the Japanese 250. His almost one minute victory two weeks ago solidly confirmed his place at the top of the point standings and sent a strong message top the rest of the competition, but that was just one race. A strong showing in round number one could just as easily be erased come round 2.
