spdoPaddi has won the MRT Cup. In the final round at Fern Bay Gold Paddi dominated the event by winning the first race, then scoring another podium finish despite starting 8th with the reversed grid. Even by winning the second race, SpeedCore.GTR_PT trails Paddi in the standings by 49 points, almost a race win. For the fourth year OWRL users can't wait until Christmas is over. Because then the annual MRT cup starts! In the final days of 2008 and the first of the 2009, drivers will fight for the cup in the smallest open wheel car of LFS. This year it consists of six races over three events. The season starts on 27 December and finishes 1 week later, on 3 January. Will Papafant defend his title or will we have a new champion?

Yesterday the 4th round of the austrian championship ends with a victory of Hohenauer. Starting from pole Hohenauer did a perfect race and was never in jeopardy during the race. Second finished Kurtz and remained as championship leader 10 points ahead of Hohenauer. 3rd finished Goritschnig with his first podium this season.
With the two qualification rounds past us, the starting grid has been defined. In GT1 My3ID takes the pole before F1RST Racing and Mercury Racing. In GT2 F1RST Racing takes the pole with Serbian Racers and spdo racing taking 2nd and 3rd, both carrying the same time.
Yesterday the 3rd round of the austrian championship took place and Kurtz extended his lead in the championship with the second win this season. The qualifying was very tight, and after the race start Hohenauer took the lead, but in the 7th lap the pole setter Kurtz could regain the lead and kept it unit the end. Second finshed Hohenauer and third Wachter.

After a rough and tumble formation lap, the 6 Hours of South City Long turned into a very good race, with a battle of strategies playing out for the GT1/overall win. Early in the race, Mercury Racing Team's GT1 dominated the proceedings. However, a crucial decision to forego repairing damage at a mid-race pitstop meant that they gradually lost pace to their competitors.
