$18? I can do that. I'll deal with upgrade/whatever when the time comes, then.

Now... I just need a chance to try it out. Busy busy all weekend.. and I just got another freelance job from my old boss. =/

Can anyone explain the pay options? I haven't had a chance to look at the installed (nor install it) but it looks to me like there's no cheaper 'offline only' option like was communicated before, only short term and long term online package options for payment?

Quote from The Very End :Make up an excuse or something, tell her that your using all your time on the computer to learn something new and incredible. A safe excuse is the "project with a friend, secret stuff, you can't see" .

If we didn't live together that would be easier. She'll see me piloting my vintage open wheeler into every tree and building in old Spa and realize it's nothing top secret.

You guys are seriously making it difficult to spend time with my girlfriend instead of trying this sim. I want to throw around some vintage open wheelers!

Favorite Song (Anything): Mad Sin - She's Evil is up there, for sure. Love Psychobilly.
Favorite Piano song: Vika Yermolyeva's cover of Stairway to Heaven
Favorite Electronic song: Something by Daft Punk, probably. I hate everything else.
Favorite Opera song: Don't listen to it.
Favorite Blues song: Don't listen to it.
Favorite Country song: Johnny Cash - God's Gunna Cut You Down or Hurt. That's a gooder.
Favorite Hip Hop & Rap song: The entire genre is shite. Except Changes by Tupac, and the odd Eminem song is tolerable. All else is tripe.
Favorite Jazz song: Don't know it enough to have a personal favorite, though Panzerballet - Pink Panther is pretty sweet.
Favorite Rock song: Way too many to mention.

Most motivating song: The Offspring - Staring at the Sun Maybe not 'motivating' per say, but certainly gets me pumped up.
Most depressing song: Hurt - Alone With the Sea One of my all-time favorites.
Song that makes you happy and smile: Silversun Pickups - Royal We. Memories with my girlfriend <3
Song that makes you think and wonder: The aforementioned 'Alone With the Sea' by Hurt or 'Stairway to Heaven' cover by Vika.
Chillout song: Don't really have any; most of my stuff is either depressing (Hurt) or 'kick-your-face-in' (Mad Sin, Slipknot, etc)
Childhood memory song: Slipknot - Eyeless

Most annoying song you know: Anything Bieber. Or Rap.
(Something that can be classified as a song)

I'm just checking out the album you released and I think it's really good. I really like 'In Between' especially.

Horizontal lightning is even cooler

Quote from Ball Bearing Turbo :I couldn't wipe the grin off my face though once I got into that crazyass deathtrap, the F1B from 1968 - who would've thought an old V8 with a seat in front could be so fun? You can throw the thing around like a dodgeball if you really want to, powersliding all over hell and it's really fun until the tires give up on you But keeping it under control at any sort of speed is actually rather terrifying. Shit, going fast in a straight line is dodgy in that thing and it's damn fun!

Alright, fine, if you're going to twist my arm I'll give it a try.

I really hope it's as good as you say it is, because LFS has no 60s GP cars and pCARS's physics just aren't there yet. I wanna drive me a deathtrap and feel the terror that I should!

Quote from Gills4life :The graphics I find are more demanding than BF3 but I think thats just because it hasn't been optimized as well as it will be when its finished.

Yea, especially since IIRC many cars have no LODs yet Sure is pretty, though....

Honestly, I'd prefer Forza. And if it had support for the G25 I'd probably have bought it and a 360 by now.

...The graphics are crap, though. And I have doubts that the physics model has improved much since the other ISI titles, if their previous rate of advance is anything to go by.

The only reason I've even looked at rF2 is for the vintage content, but I'm not holding my breath on anything amazing.

Quote from BlueFlame :You're on LFS forum, moaning about graphics for another game? Since when did graphics make a good sim? (obviously nobody knows how good rF2 is/will be physically).

LFS may not have many bells and whistles when it comes to graphics, but it still looks good, and charming. rF2, which is supposed to have all the bells and whistles, looks like crap. All the cars look like dull plastic, the sandbags in the Monaco chicane look like brains, and the whole thing is just very dull.

Quote from Furiously-Fast :Spec 2.02 is now live. Major changes are the GT 86, the ability to change wheels on the standards and the racing sounds have been altered. Wind and tyre noises appear to be alot louder.

Something that wasn't mentioned in the log of changes was the more dynamic chase camera. It sways alot more than it used to.

So that's why I couldn't access the seasonals last night... I thought this was being released tomorrow :S

Well, we've got a small tank right now (30 Gallons I think? Maybe 25? I forget) so he won't hit his full potential. He's only about 6 inches now, I think. Hard to tell when the little bugger keeps moving so fast. His dorsal fin is almost as long as his body, though. Looks pretty cool.

Quote from legoflamb :picked up GT5 again, and something seems different. Are the brakes less sensitive since the update?

I used to have to run with 2 in the front and would lock up at full brakes on sports hard, now even 5 in the front and comfort soft tires don't lock up.

I found the opposite. Fired up GT5 for the first time in I don't even know how long; at least 9 months. I found I was getting some rear-brake-lock-rotation in some cars. Caused a few clenchers, was good fun.

I really, really, really wish that GT5 had more customization options like Forza 4. Or I just wish that FM4 was for the PS3 as well, so I could play it. I wanna paint my car, damnit!
