I've got a tank and had a few others before I moved as well.
Kuhli Loaches are pretty cool, but you won't see them most of the time. Mine tended to burrow in the substrate and stay there unless they needed food. They're fast as hell, too.
If you're going the fresh water route (which it sounds like you are by your fish choices) I'd recommend making a Cichlid tank. They're more colourful and active than most other freshwater fish, but they are very aggressive so they can't be put with many other kinds of fish; Only loaches and Plecos and Catfish species are safe with them IIRC. Some Cichlid species are very cool looking.
If you do things right, there are a couple cichlid species that can co-exist with other kinds of fish, too, like Kribensis. They are territorial, though, and will defend their 'home,' especially if they spawn. Also, don't have any more than one pair of them in the tank or they will kill each other.

Only other thing I can think of is that Photoshop has the nasty habit of making images look like crap when not at round zoom numbers (12.5,25,50,75,100, for example all look fine. Anything in between looks like hell). Are you viewing the image at 100%?

Finished my thesis on time (just!), finished my Bachelor's Degree, got a sweet brand new condo in an awesome area of the city, moved in with my girlfriend, got a sweet job designing snow board equipment (among other things), and I still haven't managed to hurt myself TOO badly.
Cons? I still do injure myself. Fractured both collar bones again, broke my knuckle and I have to go back into physiotherapy for my knees and (now) collar bones. I need to start taking better care of myself.

It's December 14th and it was 9 degrees celcius today, and raining. Still no snow. In Toronto. Canada. In December... What an odd year.
Private Christmas for my girlfriend and I at our place on the 23rd, I'm cooking up a roast chicken and a bunch of tasty stuff for a full-on Christmas meal for the two of us. 24th is Christmas at my folks' place like every year (difference is they moved in the summer and so it's just in a new location...) and then spending the day with my girlfriend's family on the 25th and off to her big family party that night at her Aunt's house.

Despite my comments, though, I'm happy with no snow (as long as I have some on Christmas Eve and Day I'm good) because this stupid city grinds to a complete halt once the first flake touches someone's windshield, and everyone goes insane and crashes into the first solid object they can find.
I wish I was fast enough to win the competition... Then I could have someone else do all the boring stuff for the track that's in my head.

Honestly the only slightly interesting thing I've seen for rF2 yet.
I doubt the physics will be amazing, and I doubt the FFB will be all that great, but I am a sucker for 60s formulae and this video alone may have sold me. Maybe.

First off, Apple products are garbage in all of my experience (only a few months now with the iPhone and it's already wanked up more than any other device I've ever had in my life, even the crappy iPod Nano I had years ago which was crap, too). Also, iTunes is a load of garbage as well.
Unfortunately I can't give you much in the way of advice in this matter; I don't use iTunes on my own rig, I use CopyTransManager instead. I refuse to install iTunes on my computer.

I forgot this was releasing this month. I loved the second one but I think they may have gone a little too over the top with this one. I'll probably still enjoy it, though; just don't have the time to play anything much right now. Maybe in a few months it'll come down in price and then I'll pick it up.

I think this is just going to be the release of the Ferrari game they announced a few years ago. Looks like they found someone to publish it and fund the finishing polishing of the title.
