2011 - What did you achieve?
(80 posts, started )
I got someone pregnant!

(it's my partner)
Got a little bit better at mixing, and learned to scratch, well, to some degree, much better than i was before anyway, and went to lots and lots of raves, 7 so far, with 2 (or if you count NYE) 3 more to go before 2011 is out, been to more events this year than i have in the last 4 combined, although im not sure thats strictly an achievment.

And on the downsides, relationships = total dogshit to be fair, maybe 2k12 will be my year eh.
I got a driving licence!
.
.
.
that's pretty much it
Finished my thesis on time (just!), finished my Bachelor's Degree, got a sweet brand new condo in an awesome area of the city, moved in with my girlfriend, got a sweet job designing snow board equipment (among other things), and I still haven't managed to hurt myself TOO badly.

Cons? I still do injure myself. Fractured both collar bones again, broke my knuckle and I have to go back into physiotherapy for my knees and (now) collar bones. I need to start taking better care of myself.
Passed my driving test, got four university offers (so far), came 3rd in DMAX enduro and sprint karting championships, finished my gold DofE award.

I'd also like to think I've improved my photography but I probably haven't given that I've not had any time to take any pictures

Congratz

I met a wonderful girl (dating more than 8 months now), lifted Realistic NASCAR Racing Events from nothingness, did rather well in school (3.5 GPA), decided what I wanted to do with my life (journalist), and climbed out of depression following my parrent's divorce.

For a 17 year old, I'd say that that isn't all that bad
Achieve ALL the nothing o/
1. Did very well at my job and got a raise/promotion to next level. But just as I got it, a car accident shattered my thigh bone and I am recovering for 8 months.
2. Got addicted to LFS and have been the "most distance/laps covered" driver in LFSW for many months now lol
Considered moving to Syndey for all of 3 minutes.

Postponed the business I have been working on for a year and began a different one instead, the new venture made a profit in the first month. In fact, I would go as far as saying that the first £1000 of pure profit was the easiest £320 I ever made.

Concluded that sometimes it is better to do what your head says even if it is not really what you want to do.

Geek wins of the year included seeing a game I made played at a gaming convention.

Geek failures included remaining single for the entire year, with just one - very disasterous - date.

Spent a £100 on a new 3D engine and then failed to write a single program with it. Began converting an existing program over but preffered the game with the original - free - OpenGL engine.

Managed to hide my age from my work colleagues for the entire year until the Xmas party after-party whilst drunkenly staggering into a Casino and I got age checked.

Got age checked at a casino - HOW AWESOME IS THAT!?

Managed to excessively flirt with most of my co workers for an entire year without a single restraining order. Awesome or what?

Cleared all my debts. I no longer think about money, I know I don't have much, but i'm not flying on the wire anymore

Moved house, I love my new home.

Cat did not get fleas once. WIN!
masturbated regularly i think that's something to be proud of.
also found a job with people i actually get on with and have a good office atmosphere..
