I was having problems with this as well...then I noticed the "$" sign before the string...this is NOT shown in the cfg file that came with the latest release!
Another query, when trying to synchronise PB.TXT files, must we create a folder called "synchro" or is it created automagically? I f we have to create it, where should it be in the directory structure?

If any of you had the choice of having a night out in Oxford, how many of you would choose to drink in The Blackbird, and how many would choose a different pub? Statistically speaking you have a 1 in 3 chance of getting out in one piece if you are not a 'native' of the area...it is almost a no-go area after dark for the police..although they wont admit to it...if they DO have to go in, they always go in heavy! Why? Because they HAVE to!
Do not forget, this is OXFORD I'm talking about...a 'nice' posh town (supposedly) full of rich white middle-class lib-dem Gruadian & Independant readers, yet we have the same problems as the rest of the country.

1000% agree...there is far more 'knife crime' in areas suck as Southhall, Brixton, Peckham etc than in Knightsbidge or Chelsea... the fact is, the police KNOW where the problem areas are, and target those specific areas. It is hardly the fault of the police that these aforementioned areas are predominantly peopled by "Ethnic Minorities"!

)Yep..I just look at the "problem" areas of Oxford...Guess what.. Problem areas= High proportion of single parent families where the main "declared" source of income is the State.
Further proof... approx 80%-85% of the "problem kids" in my daughters school come from...lets see..ahh, yes, single parent families!
Dont get me wrong, I am NOT saying that all single parent families are bad, what i am saying is that there is more likelihood of a problem child coming from a one-parent family than from a two-parent family.
I was listening on the radio to kids from deprived areas of London on the causes, and even THEY admitted that the lack of a father-figure was a major factor in the rise of youth crime.
Sorry to contradict Dan, but I am willing to bet my mortgage that in more than 80% of the "yoofs" with problems, the word is PARENT (singular!)
The vast majority of these kids come from homes with absent (or, in some cases) completely unknown fathers, bought up by women who would rather spend time out on the pull/on the pi$$/shooting dope than caring what their kids are doing.
I know that there are MANY single parents who do a remarkable job of bringing their kids up properly, but the ones that don't are the ones that hit the headlines.
The plod can stop and search me 3 times a day for a month and I wouldn't care...why should I; I have nothing to hide.. it only takes a minute or two, but at least it would prove that the police actually WANT to do something about it!

Example, my 76yr old father still drives a 38ft Fleetwood RV, as well as a Kangoo that he drags around behind it for short runs etc... He is STILL a very good driver, and the only accident he has been involved in during the last TWENTY years was when a KID of 22 lost control of his Corsa on a roundabout and broadsided my Dads Fleetwood!
I know a guy (I work with him TBH) who recently got his award for THIRTY EIGHT YEARS driving without an accident for which he was responsible. This guy drives an AVERAGE of 1500 miles per week.
He is 64.
Older drivers are not necessarily BAD drivers, the problem is, stupid boy-racer kids that OD on reruns of Fast and teh Furious THINK that anybody who "dares" to CRAWL along at 30mph (in a 30mph limit!) instead of letting teh VTEC or teh Turbo'z cut in and do 70 should be shot.

If they ( the Euro Parliament) REALLY believed in Democracy, then they should throw it open to a referendum in EVERY member state, and THEN we could/would accept a majority decision.

The biggest problem with communism is that NO COUNTRY has ever fully embraced the concept....in every so-called communist country there are always some people who are more equal than others.
Basic human nature is against the very concept of communism, as we (homo sapiens) are genetically programmed to follow those who are stronger/faster/better etc (Note: I'm not saying that prats like Brown and Bush etc are any 'better'...they just fought their way to the top by one means or another...).. just a case of survival of the fittest, basic Darwinism at work.
This doesn't stop everybody aspiring to be the top dog, head honcho, bossman whatever, so true communism can never work.

Or maybe you have magic eyes that can see round a bend before you get to it...what happens if you hit the apex only to find that there is a twat coming the other way that has taken the bend a bit wide...or if the apex is on the left, what if there is a cyclist/pedestrian walking along the road?
Example..other day I'm driving home from work...window down, radio full blast, 50 mph (in a 50mph limit!) when I get overtaken on a blind approach to the summit of a hill by some toerag in a VXR doing about 80+...big deal...there was something coming over the top of the hill who had to swerve into the verge to avoid him, I had to brake HEAVILY to let him in...the c**t could quite easily have taken both of us out!
FYI..the road there can be taken at 100+..I know because I have done it myself (on my bike!) but its everything else that must be taken into account at the time...30 mph may be dangerous on exactly the same stretch of road that at times is capable of being driven at 100+
