Yep, Movie maker is ok....ish, but I just glued two clips together, used max quality settings...took 47 minutes to do an ~80 min film....and managed to totally screw up the brightness/contrast settings, and put 90% of the film out of sync...really first class if you ask me!

I am trying to stick a few *.AVI (DivX) clips together to make a full movie...at the moment I am trying to do it with Micro$haft Movie Maker, cos it is on my PC already and free...
Question is, are there any viable alternatives that have more functionality, are faster, and are just as free?
Suggestions pls

The servers concerned are hosted on MY spare box, and although they bear the [dSRC] tag, they are/were not connected physically to the original [dSRC] Battleground servers, that had to close when our provider went bye-byes on a permanent basis.

The ban list on mine was originated by Wrecker Barricade, a service which Tiny didnt bother with; her opinion (and quite rightly so..) was that SHE would decide who to ban or not to ban, based on the behaviour by individuals on our servers...
(pretty much the ethos to which I subscribe nowadays anyway! )

Just a quick related query, but I was trolloing through my bans.ban file the other evening (for no particular reason ) and noticed a throwback from the days when we coulld auto-add people to the ban list courtesy of the reporting system (now defunct?)
Anyways, I noticed a few names on the list that I just cannot understand why they are on there - I have unbanned them obviously, but I wonder what they must of done or who they upset to get on the list in the first place!

Speak up TAA and TVE! Why was you on my list??

Watched it at about 5AM BST this morning...bloody great for those who like high-octane action with brain in neutral! Heath Ledger was brilliant, but was that only because all of the rest of the cast (Exceptions: Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman) had forgotten how to act...to call some of the performances "wooden" would be over-complimentary!

Gotta say it (even if UK release date is only a couple of hours ago )...Dark Knight IS bloody good..
Heath Ledger is as good as everybody says he is in the film, definitely worthy of a posthumous oscar!

The average working man would be quite happy with £30k...I know I would! The "minimum wage" here is only about £8.5k per year!!!!
In my own case, weekly take home pay is between £320-£400 depending on shifts, and although I only drive to and from work 5 times a week (22 mile round trip) and a few miles running around, it costs me £25 per week just for fuel

As for consumer products being the same, it is well documented that we in the UK pay a hell of a lot more than the US for the same things...

Only suggestion...maybe a timeout after a few seconds..example..pass the split/end of lap, pitboard displayed for 5 seconds, then disappears until next split...would that work?
