I just KNOW that people have been trying out massive grids on big circuits and autocross layouts...but I just tried 10 * MRT's on the Kart track!

Believe me, it was MY privilege!
I will freely admit that I went into the gig with a completely open mind, didnt really know what to expect; (Being a lazy git and not bothering to check out youtube first! Smile )
As it was, you lot blew my open mind out of the window! Great performance, all 4 of you were very, VERY good at your individual instruments, and the band as a whole was very tight.
You are going to have to book a gig at the O2 in Oxford sometime, and we will come and watch again for certain!!

PS to everybody else...if you notice Dajmin and his band in YOUR area, go and see them, they are well worth it!

Hey Dajmin....Gonna be seeing YOU this weekend at Butlins Minehead!
Booked tickets for the Giants of Rock weekend, and when we were checking the times/stages to sort out who we could see, we noticed a familiar name...ALBANY DOWN!!!

I'll keep an eye out for you, and let you buy me a pint! Smile

Quote from Dygear :The path files themselves would be updated on a some what regular basis based on the current WR hot lap path on a per car basis? ... I already have a pth file parser, so I'm wondering what I'm going to have to do to it to get this new information, and how often.

IMO, it's unlikely that any paths will be based on WRs, or even regularly updated for that matter - the current ones certainly aren't.

Since the new paths look to be dealing more with open (or custom) configs with multiple potential routes, there's a good chance they may not be based on driving an actual driven lap at all, but rather multiple linked sections of road similar to digital mapping/navigation systems.

Come on guys...READ the previous threads...the "paths" have absolutely NOTHING to do with the AI cars or WR's or anything other than GRAPHICS!!
Quote from Scawen; (in case you cant scroll back more than 2mm!!)...

Quote :The high level of detail resulted in some loss of frame rate, specially in open configs, so we have worked on a new system where open configs can use 'paths' (and change between paths as needed) so LFS knows where you are and what you can see from your location. This keeps the frame rate high by avoiding drawing too many objects. I worked on a new hidden object removal system which doesn't miss objects like the old system did. I plan to release updated hidden object files for the existing tracks.

WARNING!!! Rave from the grave time!! Yes folks...my first post in CENTURIES!!!

Just to let you all know that I dusted off my trusty G25 and plugged it into my brand spanking new PC running Windoze 8.1, grabbed the latest profiler from Logitech...downloaded a fresh new version of LFS 0.6G; started it up and......

So far EVERYTHING is working perfectly!
Where are the FF problems reported with the G25 on Win 8.1??
Where are the incompatibilities with DX11??
I'm feeling left out here...nothing to moan about! (For a change!)

Quote from Tomba(FIN) :Quite nice, but why so noisy?

As I said..waiting for my f1.8 macro..bloody silly lens I have at the moment only opened to f4.8, didn't want to use a flash, so had to up the ISO to 400 to avoid major under-exposure.

Our photography clubs' monthly competition subject is either "Still Life" or "Autumn"...this is my submission. I just wish that my new f1.8 lens had arrived in time...but it didn't.

chelsea!!!!!

You forget..

Football Association Rule Book; Paragraph 6 Section 3:
..."On no account will Tottenham Hotspur be allowed to win a league game at the venue known as "Stamford (The Fortress) Bridge"; under penalty of the entire home crowd (all 150 spectators!) being force fed pork pies and bacon sarnies at the next game at White Fart Lane"

As we sang a few years back (at a Tottenham game)...

"NORMAL SERVICE IS RESUMED!!"

Either a post op She-male, or a pre-op [insert correct term here]..either way, I just cannot believe that he/she/it (delete as appropriate) is 100% female.

Easy detection..follow it into a loo, and see if it stands or squats to pee

On the other hand...If it DOES pass the gender test, they want to run a dope test on it as well...because there is NO WAY a relative newcomer could blitz such a strong field...sh!t...even Usain Bolt didnt win by THAT much!

Quote from Nathan_French_14 :Im starting to get really good at shooting the choppers side turrets. Tonight was awesome. I was in a party with 3 mates. I was flying and shooting the turrets, one freind was throwing grenades, and the other two providing alternate fire out of the sides.

It was AWESOME! We were destroying absolutely everything in sight, and it was real fun chasing the other guys down. There was this one kid, who probably wasn't older than 8 years old. He was screaming everytime i chased him in the chopper laying down fire, and started to get real upset, telling me to leave him alone.

All sorted, thanks to a post on the Logitech website...the symptoms I had were exactly the same as another guy...his problem was that his A/C power convertor had blown....mine was that while I was fidding about in the dark with the cables under my desk, mine had come unplugged!

Has anybody else had problems installing their G25 on Win 7 RC..
Mine was working fine on the beta versions, but with the most recent 7x64, it doesn't want to know!
Tried downloading the latest logitech drivers for Vista x64 (5.04) but during the install process it recognizes the wheel as a DFP!!!
Pedals, gears seem to work OK (in the profiler and control panel) but as for the wheel...zilch.

Even as true-blue Chelsea fan, I had nothing but respect for Sir Bobby...one of the last true gentlemen of the game.
At least Cloughie will have someone to talk to now.

RIP Sir Bobby.
