Dont get me wrong, i think that as a sim LFS is great but news and updates are so slow, maybe thats why its taking so long but lets hope LFS gets it soon.

After this our server CD2 will be open for qualifiying which will start at midnight on 9th

On the 9th the Top 100 usernames in skill league will have access to the server, only 32 of these will be allowed to take part in the showdown race.

On the 10th only the fastest 75 will have access, on 12th this drops to the top 50

On the 14th this stops

These 50 will be compared to the top 50 in the league and the top 32 users can take part in the showdown

I will make sure that there are FZR, FXR and XRR drivers and these will be announced.

Starting today (February 1st) Conedodgers invite all LFS S2 license holders to take part in the the second round of the 3rd season of the LFS GTR Skill League

League Active: 20:00pm to 3.00am GMT each day

This round will be live all of February to the end of March

There will them be a showdown race meeting but this time with a difference. as it will be a 6 lap sprint race and a 1 hour main race for triple points

We shall also be having a FXR, XRR and FZR champions and an overall champion

You are invited to take part in a race meeting to find out who is our champion

The date is Wednesday 21st January 2009 on CD2

18:00 UTC, Qualify for 1 hour - top 32 who are present will race.
19:00 UTC, Race 1

Race 2, 3 and 4 will follow with a gap of 5 mins.

Each 6 laps with a pit on AS3 and GTR,

There will be 10 points for first, 8 for second, 6 for third, then 4, 3, 2 and 1

There is also 2 points for fastest lap in each race.

Only 32 will race but there are 46 on the list as there is no doubt several who will not make it.

As i have said many times before 99% of bans are vote bans, the few that are admin bans are normally done for good reasons and in my case a good reason is someone annoying me, thats why i always say i will not discuss bans.

Oh how strange that the random member is me, well i am getting older (now 58) and getting slower year on year, i did 1:40's on earlier patches but cant seem to do it anymore.

But still i am happy with my time which is all that matters.

I enjoy LFS and its been the most value for money thing i have ever purchased. I spent over £50000 on a World Rally car for track days a few years ago and spent £1000 every time i used it.

£24 for LFS is fantastic value
