Went from U30 to U32, so used a unlock, but could not race with the new sounds as they gave me a headache with the constant drone.

I also found that the lack of skid noise made me slower.

So i went Back to U30, using another unlock

No unlocks left so sorry but cannot try U33.

I have sent an email but still no unlocks

I think you will find there are several people in the same boat.

"Your skin cannot be found at www.lfsworld.net"

Yet the skin can be seen by other players and is present on LFSW

Several have tried uploading the skin again but it make no difference

The message comes up after few seconds when you go on track, however it does not seem to be everyone.

U32 seams fine, still get a few clicks whien selecting cars and other options as if its waiting to load but not as bad as U30

Sounds are getting there but on race cars it needs to be more raw and not so perfect. They boom so much they are giving me a headache

Finally if you can take the Potato out of the GTR's exhausts the sound would be more like it.

ConeDodgers servers are filtter with LFSLapper and we consider spamming and swearing as un-sporting, if you spam LFSLapper is set to give you a Drive-through penalty automatically which normally gets the reaction of "This is Bullsh*t" or some other such comment, however it works as normally the person stops spamming.

Also as the server is so full we attract a number of drivers who use Shift+S several times in a race, using Shift+S is the main cause of Blue flag incidents.

On [CD]1 (AS3) we have had 5 people record 1:39.xx lap times, 100's in the 1:40's and over 1000 in the 1:41 range. The main problem is when 2 cars are of similar times yet one is a lap ahead, it is very difficult for a 1:42 driver to pass another 1:42 driver who has used Shift+S and a lap or more behind so the driver being lapped MUST obey the blue flag.

It is very difficult to "police" a full server, to stop spamming and stop all blue flag problems but one thing is clear on our servers is that using "/ban xxxxx 0" makes the problem go away for about 12 hours.

I will also say to anyone who will not obey the blue flag rule, please do not use our servers.

I must say you are very lucky getting onto the ConeDodgers Server as its normally full and even luckier to stay on if you do not obey the blue flag.

Admin will warn you once, kick you once and then ban you for 12 hours, that is if the other drivers have not already banned you by voting.

At ConeDodgers we have the following in our rules which are as clear as we can make them.

Blue Flag
One or more competitors are about to lap you. You must hold your course and allow them to pass UNIMPEDED. You must make sure you change speed and leave room to be passed. DO NOT RACE A CAR THAT IS A LAP AHEAD.

Should you pass a slower car and then find you get a blue flag warning you can carry on but MUST NOT IMPEAD THEM IN ANY WAY.

In both the LFS: GTR League and on the ConeDodgers servers, not obeying the blue flag is considered unsporting and anyone doing so with have points deducted or may be forced to leave the server.

Season 2 is now running, round 1 results are on the website.

All 100 places in the LFS: GTR league are currently full, however you can become a reserve and take up a place in our reserve entry races by joining the racers form on the website.

The problem is now over and finished with.

As everyone who is a member of the LFS: GTR League has had several emails and we gave a final warning here changes have been made.

We have now dropped all D5 and D4 divers who have never raced and are not members of the conedodgers forum, these have been replaced with live reserves.

We shall also be dropping all the non-active, non-contactable drivers in D1, D2 and D3 shortly.

This leaves an opening for a few extra reserves who may well get drives quickly.

I run ConeDodgers and both our servers are with 500 Servers. So i would like to tell you a story of just what 500Servers are like.

First i rent one server 23 slot with lapper, as a bit of fun so i dont have to use the other servers that always seen to have wreckers on. I like AS3 and GTR's like a lot of others so I have the idea to start the LFS: GTR League so the racing has a bit of meaning. 120 drivers join and in 10 days 2000 drivers record times in Lappers PB.txt.

Even a 1:39.87

So i get another server, again 23 slot with lapper

Both servers were full all the time for days and days and one still is

We then start to get several disconnects and a couple of mass-disconnects and Franky tells me its either the LFS Net code or Races with bad connections and as he is not getting the same problems with other servers he did not see how it could be the server. I contacted the devs who tell me its not the code and every driver assures me it not "thier connection".

What happened next shows you just what Franky500 of 500 servers tried, working round the clock, to find the problem for several days.

First he moves the servers to a new box, then another box in another buliding, he re-installs every thing, updates everything. Goes from U20 back to U then to U30. He worked his Balls off.

Finally the buzz of Conedodgers calmed down a bit and he was not satisfied with the ping so moved it all again.

Without doubt his service is second to none, yes i agree he is not available 24/7 but then nor am i.

I have wantched my servers and others and feel that poor connections is the main problem as its the same people over and over again. Its amazing how if you /ban one of them the problem stops until the ban comes off.

But tell them they are causing a problem and all you get is an ear bashing and how they have a 500gig ADSL so its not them.

I would highly recommend 500 Servers to anyone.

Not a bug but thought it better here than improvements.

As you are working on mirrors, any chance of making the vitual mirror have a small "wing" mirror on each end of the virtual mirror so racers can see down both sides of the car, more like real life

Currently you can only see a wing mirror in real view, and then only one side, left in a LHD and right in a RHD, so one side is always a blind spot.

Being able to see both side may cut out a few "you turned into me" accidents.

I did read the rules before the race .After looking at the rules again, it says to “send a replay with the exact details of the event” so PM’s can’t be used as you can’t attach files and I didn’t think this method would be appropriate , and again could not see a email address anywhere on the site

Please note my answer is not just for you but in the hope that every member will read it and take note.

The website states

"As there is over 100 racers registered for the league all communication will be by email only"

And the rules state

A replay will be saved of each session and if any driver wants to put forward an objection against another driver or anything whatsoever they should send a replay with the exact details of the event such as

"Car 21 Objection - 20th October Race 2 Lap 4, car 15 at 5.04.65 on replay pushes me off track"

If Admin see's a driver do something against the rules they will be put a message such as "under investigation" on the screen however all racers should understand that it is not possible for admin to view all cars on track at the same time and should they wish to lodge a complaint against another driver full details such as

"Car 21 Objection - 20th October Race 2, Lap 4, car 15 at 5.04.65 on replay pushes car 21 off track"
or
"Car 21 Objection - 24th October Race 1, Lap 2, car 15 at 3.04.65 on replay overtakes under yellow"

You have 48hours to send in an objection, after this the results stand

I need the email in that format so i do not have to sit through another replay and without it in that exact format and by email there is no objection.

Finally we use the UNDER INVESTIGATION message to give you an idea where to look on the replay. In just the last 4 days there has been over 180 minutes of replays and it is impossible to go through each one viewing of the 134 cars that have been on track.
