The fifth round of the Apex Cup was held Friday the 2nd at the small streets of South City Town Reversed with the MRT5.

In qualifying it was Adam Wisniewski from spdoRacing who took the pole position with a time of 1:25.50, only 0.06 slower than the current world record. Behind him it was Nolan Scott and Luis Barbosa who took the second and third place on the starting grid.

The second season of the Live For Speed Destruction Derby League (last year under the [CAD] team tag) is scheduled to begin on the 14th of August at 8pm. For more information about the league, please click here.

Before the drivers will start their summer break, they had to drive sixty laps at the Aston North circuit for the sixth round of this years’ OWRL F1 season. Adam Wisniewski led Quentin Benoît by two points which gave both a good chance to rest two months as the leader of the championship.

With Conquest Racing a new team has found its way into the league and with Mateusz Daszkiewicz, one of their drivers made it straightaway into the second qualifying segment. With Peter Hopkins on tenth position a retired driver made an appearance and made it into the second part just barely.

The second ever season of the Bump and Jump Revival Cup has ended a few days ago. It featured many changes – Tiger Express Events took over the organisation after iCON Racing’s collapse, and a 2 divisions system. If Renesis dominated the first season with Joachim Souaï and Damien Jourdainne, the second season would be overpowered by the Irish Foireann Na hÉireann team (litterally Team Ireland in Gaelic) composed of Ministery of Speed’s manager Andy O’Brien and Niall Murray, the brother of the real life Seat Eurocup driver, Eoin. Both drivers took 1st and 2nd in both divisions.

The fourth round of the Apex Cup was held Friday the 18th at the highspeed circuit Westhill International with the RaceAbout and the FZ50.

Most drivers decided to go for the RaceAbout, except Joni Törmälä an Kevin Leu picked the FZ50 which has a faster straightline speed compared to the RaceAbout.

The third round of the Apex Cup was held at the tropical Fern Bay Green Reversed track with the Formula BMW.

In qualifying it was Nolan Scott who took the pole position closely followed by Luis Barbosa and Jan Wiechowski. The top 14 drivers set a time within a second of the pole position. This promised quite some action for the sprint and main race.

The fifth round of this years’ OWRL F1 season was held at the Westhill International course which was used in the reversed configuration under sunset conditions. After the lead change in the world championship last race where SPDO Racing’s Adam Wisniewski took the lead from Quentin Benoît of Redline Racing, the latter had to react this time. In addition to that many new faces were seen on this high-speed track.


Benoît got support from Mika Raymond and Christian Felder of Sonicrealms Racing got with Sebastian Hutchinson another team mate as well.

Revolutionary Racing will be a oval league using Kyoto Oval, Autocross layouts including Motegi, Martinsvillie, Jarlington, and other fictional tracks. This series will be using the Stock XRG car to give that hometown short track feel. The series is focused on close racing and the layouts will provide 2 wide racing on flat ground. Even if you are not an oval fan this is something you may enjoy! Are you ready to feel the heat?

Date: June 16th (Qualifying 4 P.M. GMT until 5) & 17th (Race at 4 P.M. GMT)
Race: 30 laps with no pit stop required.
Entry Requirments: none to enter, must place top 12 in qualifying to race.

The Open Wheel Racing League S2 Season 16 started in February and recently came to a conclusion. Division A was for the more experienced drivers and uses the F3000-like Formula V8. For new drivers or those that prefer the closer racing the smaller formula cars offer, Division B races are held with the Formula XR and the Formula BMW. New this season was a team championship, but even before the final round it became clear this new rule did not change the strongest driver and team. Just like in S2 Season 15, RAPTOR | Chris claimed the Div A championship in a way which redefines ‘dominating’ and [SR] FireDragon was the strongest in Div B.

After the tight circuit of South City we headed to the circuit of Jamaica, where the fourth race of the season were held on the Fern Bay Black track. Both Adam Wisniewski and Quentin Benoît wanted to be in the top position of the world championship after this race and their teams SPDO Racing and Redline Racing were also fighting for the lead in the Team Championship.


On the 4.1 mi long circuit Jarl Teien of NordicUK Racing set the fastest lap in the first qualifying, when the fuel tanks of the cars were empty and everything was focused on getting into the top ten and therefore taking part in the second part of qualifying.

The second round of the Apex Cup was held Friday the 28th. The track, blackwood, in combination with the front wheel drive GTR’s promised quite some action and that’s what we had.

The qualifying was very close with 15 drivers within 1 second of the pole. It was Barbosa who took the pole with a 1:14.76. Behind him stood Leu.

With the new car, new contestans arrived at the Fun Racing League for some FBM action. The first round of the June Trophy was again a lot fun, with tense races that lived up to the expectations!

Drivers arrived at Aston National Reversed course for the first round of the Trophy. Top men in the previous Trophy [Q3]makakazo and RRT|CRNI looked a bit off the times in the prequalifitacion, with WR holder Naselli, MalcoMax and [Q3]Guiouton getting the top three during prequal. The race was scheduled for a 15 minutes hardcore qualifying session and two races of 13 laps each, scoring points the top 15 finishers of both races.
