The opening round of the 2010 GT Amateur League saw the teams, like last season, made the trip to the tricky reverse configuration of Blackwood's Grand Prix circuit. In the week leading up to the race, two qualifying sessions took place which saw debutants Triple 7 and CoRe Racing take the top 2 spots in the Sunday session, with drivers Tommy Østgaard and Kenneth O'Keefe at the wheel of the respective cars.

The last race of this years OWRL F1 championship 2009 took place at the Kyoto GP circuit. Although both titles were tight in the hands of the 1stBFA Racing Team there was still a position left at the podium of the driver championship. Contenders were Carsten Hörenbaum, SK Gaming, who led with one single point against Pete Hopkins, Sonicrealms Racing. Next to their fight it was also important to say goodbye to this year in a way that will be remembered in the upcoming months when the OWRL F1 will have a long winter break.


A typical issue of this track is the fast chicane where the cars leave the oval part.

It was a great week for TBO with the easy AS2 which we have bookmarked on everyone's request, we had a special feature in the first corner which seems to have prevented the classic T1 divebombs.
GT2 was a bit slow last week with AS4r, so next week TBO will get a hard track with SO6r and GT2 a popular one with KY2r.

Our compliments to most of you last week, we've seen a lot of great and fun racing, the ambiance was great and it makes you forget those inevitable bad races.....

I am pleased to announce two new t-shirts have been added to the LFS merchandise shop.
Not long ago we held a competition for 'the next design' and the two with the most votes had theirs come to life. The 'Serious Simracer Kit' by ElvisArg and creative LFS design by JJ72 will make great additions to the shop!

GTR Class - 'n!facluty' won fortunate ahaed the 'Alternative' FZR

We have seen on Aston North a really strong competition. Directly from pole 'Alternative.AXLE3D' started in the race. On the track we expected a three part competition. After qualyfication placed on two, 'Conquest Racing' have had technical problems. They rejoined from the box in the first lap. So only n!faculty could follow, but without endangering 'aT' seriously. A really good, fast performance were shown from the race leader. After 48 laps, the tires from 'Alternative' were down.

Next week the GT2 will be at Westhill International (WE1) and the TBO will go to the many times requested Fern Bay Gold (FE3).

OFC-RL is Starting a NEW Beginners League we are looking for both members and teams who is new to LFS we have a dedicated server to host all races...
The Beginners 500 is a Rally race 20laps with a pitstop.
We do our best to respect all drivers and supporting a NO Crash for position rules..

Round twelve of this years’ OWRL F1 championship and one title has already been given away, but there was still the Team Championship left to decide. The 1stBFA Racing Team could seal the deal with three points at the Aston GT Reversed course. During Qualifying it became clear that it was just a formality to achieve the necessary position. However another driver, who didn’t have anything to do with the championship was leading the time table in the final seconds of qualifying.

Innovate Racing driver Jürgen Gießler was at the top when everyone made their final attempt to take pole-position.

Congradulations to #68 Welty GER on securing the pole position for the inaugural Halloween Festival of Speed this Sunday, brought to you by RSR and [raceway33].

Welty beat out some of the finest oval racers in LFS, taking his XRR to the top of the chart and never relinquishing his position.

On November 4th NDR and LFSCART will do the Martinsville 100 night, with 4 short track oval races on a Martinsville layout. The four races are scheduled for 40 laps. The first green flag will wave at about 2100UTC. The Formula V8 is the car of the evening but with an extra load of 90kg. The Martinsville layout is about 0.625 mi long and a lap takes 22-23 seconds.There are no artificial outside retaining walls.
