Indeed

Compact always looked out of proportion, but the more I look the more I like about the e46 shape!
Imo the compact looks like an opel, and thats not good.

lol Opel? Which one?
Idk the shape reminds me of an astra.

Well i mean it's not the best looking bmw.
Corsa imo

Well, congrats then, must have been pricey to get.
Quote from Chrisuu01 :I love your vtec it was so awesome on the highway.

Hehe, you mean TypeR, Vtec is bout the engine
Yes, vtec is just honda's version of a turbo

???? It's more like a motorbike engine if anything....

nah, its just Hondas version of a system that you find on almost all new cars nowadays, its just Honda is the last manufacturer advertising with it
I thought that it had to do with the valve timing etc?
It's to do with their engines revving to hell and back without blowng up.
nah its for the valve covers, comes black, red, blue etc Variable Technic Engine Cover
Went for a drive today, but the dust sort of ruins all the pictures...

I honestly don't see how you can go from that car you had to a V6 MG, it's such an old mans car...

What did the insureance say about that? I can't imagine the stupid quotes they'd give me for a 2.5 V6 anything, never mind an MG.

Is it the 160 or 190bhp version btw? Thirsty regardless :P
Erm... it's not a V6

It's the 135 BHP CDTI version with a detuned BMW M47 320d engine - but still very very quick and will do 50 MPG (when I get the thermostat fixed - atm getting 44 - 45)

Insurance is barely anymore than the Wira (£1152pa -> £12xxpa)

And I dont care if its seen as an old mans car - I have all the luxuries I could ever want, loads of torque, amazing looks - all for barely any more than a crappy Focus!

Quote :Acceleration (0-60): 12.6 seconds

I hope you mean quick relative to the Proton...
Actually:
Quote :0-60 mph 10.3 s

Plus it is a lot quicker when moving due to the torque - at low speeds the Proton is nipper, but the MG just keeps accelerating...
I must have been looking at some dodgy figures then
Quote from Jakg :......

Hmmmm, I have to say it, congrats on the car.

It's a massive upgrade from the proton. It's a nice looking car (the more I look at it) and like you say, it has all the shizznit you could ever want and plenty of poke. Shame it has that old man vibe around it but, meh, who cares.

And people quoting 0-60 figures is about as meaningful as when you did when you were looking for a new car You're not driving around with a stop watch or doing quater mile runs, you put your foot down and of she goes.

...took you long enough tho, god damn.
