What's your motherboard make? the only reason why your cpu is throttling is because it's doing nothing at ldle, like when just surfing the net the cpu is doing nothing so C&Q drops the cpu speed depending on how much the application is stressing the cpu, so when you load up COD6 c&q puts the speed back to normal, you can turn it off by going into the bios or set the power setting in windows to high performance.

I got The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena from wednesday sale and Left4Dead2 on thursday sale, both maxed out max connection at the time.

Not touched Riddick yet but had a night of l4d2 which was fun, feels much better then the first one but the AI suck at controlling the other players around you, hords are much harder this time around.

The only reason you "oldes" and me complain is because it's the same content over and over again, the lack of clean races are really down aswell, i still don't think the new tyre model will help that much aswell.

Fresh cars/tracks (not new track configs) will help alot because it's been almost the same stuff since i joined back in Aug 2005, but i really started to get sick of the same stuff over and over again around mid 2008, only really stayed with lfs is because all the people who i have got to know over the past years.

Been thinking of looking more into iRacing but it's goes against what i don't believe in gaming is p2p or payable content, like everything they release you have to buy which i really hate.

I have got a Coolmaster 500 watt psu, it's fine on my system with 5 hdd's/AMD x3 720 @ 3.3/ ATI x2 4770/OCZ 8GIG 1066/X-FI soundcard/BluRay Drive. It's not struggleing to power it at all but it all depends on the quality of the psu tbh.

Some are crap but some are really good, i got mine for £60ish but if you got a psu rated at 500watt and cost half the price, if you go ahead and but the cheap you will risk blowing most off your pc components.

Whats your wattage on the psu? also what's your other pc componets?
