I think it's a good idea. Make the strobes orange and suddenly it won't be cruise related unless people who want to use it in cruising purposes get some blue/red DDS files for it. It's not unrealistic for a racing simulator and it shouldn't be too complicated to add either. Also add some admin controll over the function so that not a bunch of people drive around with strobe lights on the roof :P
Agree. And how about downshifts, how would those be predicted? I mean come on, you have your own set of hands with real life super-graphics right in front of you. Why would you need a second set inside of the monitor? If the actual shifting is going to be delayed then that would suck so bad. If you're adding such an effect, at least make the actual shifting instant and let the animation lag behind.
I would like this to be implemented but as an optional setting. In real the head's got a built in "view stabilizer". Try looking at something while rolling your head. You'll still always experience the vertical axis of your environment as the vertical axis of your view. That's why I think it's a good thing.
On the other hand, I do like it when my steering wheel and all my other gear is synced and leveled with the in game car. So I'd say; add it but make it optional.
I feel it too Clutch isn't so snappy anymore. I can launch the XRT without hearing tire screeching All these new objects are awesome too. Thanks a lot for this patch!
Might already have been suggested but remove the blockades between the autocross, skidpad and maybe also to the dragstrip. The incomplete second autocross with the go-kart track could get useful too.
Maybe also removing the barriers blocking off the hidden wip south city road?
According to Rockinghams website. The inner track should have a width of roughly 11 meters. Give me something with 3-5 meters of width please. Make something narrow and technical. Make a track where the GTR class is excluded from the consideration and that focuses on the road cars / open wheelers.
Outerra is a game currently in progress and here is an example that it's very possible. (Yes, those dirt trails are formed over time as vehicles drive in them and they turn deeper and deeper. They also slowly flatten out if not driven on)
