I really like MNR. So many ways to personalise your own mod, tracks and Kart. Not only that, but the racing is alot of fun too, especially online with power ups. Now I understand why games like Mario Kart are so popular.

My only downside is what pretty much everyone who has the game complains about: Loading times. It takes off almost 3gb off my HDD memory yet I still have to wait 30-ish seconds for stuff to load.

Hurting someone isn't very... umm... helpful.

Quote from Bose321 :Let's be honest, who still has P4 and that junk?

Me. Well I'm pretty sure I ain't the only one though.

Raising the system requirement is a bad idea. For starters, Scavier could loose alot of potential buyers who don't have a gaming computer or do not have enough money to get one.

I agree but they are both quite ugly anyway.

Quote from CoolColJ :Such a staggered release date is bad if true - since the PS3 is not region locked, many people might want to import

I won't... I will never get used to the currency in the game.

Besides, the US/EU versions will have english soundtracks and a maybe a few more cars (like GT4 did.)

C'mon E3.... Mid-june feels like it is a damn year away!

Not only for GT5 info, but for the NFS game by Criterion (yes, I'm one of the few who are still interested :razz and TDU2.

Will Scavier make an appearance at E3 with LFS S3?

How long before someone creates the Nordschleife?

Or even better, the Top Gear test track...

Quote from PMD9409 :Meh, only thing I like about it is you can create tracks. Other than that I don't see how I would spend more than a week on it.

Creating replica's of real tracks and creating real car liveries should make it long lasting.

I am interested in this game too. IGN 9.0 (but they are kinda biased) and other sites gave it high scores too. Looks like this game can keep me entertained for a while.

I'm gonna try the Scirocco in the NFSW beta, but I'll be doing the LTC enduro on Saturday. That leaves me with 2 days to try the 'rocco.

A thread for the race/roadcar sounds? Ok, here are some of the best noises I hear coming out of exhaust pipes.

I think any car with a 5 cylinder engine sounds awesome. E.G:

Quote from Amynue :Scirocco got leaked :munching_

I don't think that is PS'ed, BUT that is probably a mod based of an LFS car. Somehow Amynue knows how to mod wheels too.

I saw a Green Exige S and a red Dodge SRT-10 (called Viper in the US) today. Too far away to hear that V10 engine.

Near where I work for experience (Quite boring...) there is a slightly posh dealership which is selling a Blue S2K with a subtle bodykit for 8k.

The download file isn't found and even if it was, I don't think my card will be supported as it only supports cards newer than the 9500 (someone said that on the forum)
ATI driver problem

Hi there,

While I was playing LFS yesterday, I got a Bsod error before it restarted by itself. I had no idea what caused it this time, so I sent the error report to microsoft to see if I could get an answer.

On the error report webpage it said that there was a problem with the ATI driver. It did get a bsod error a while ago when I had the old(er) drivers installed on the card, but it is happening again with the newest drivers I could find.

So is the card coming near to the end of its life now? It is an agp Asus a9250 (based on the ATI Radeon 9250... ancient card) so should I consider upgrading? I don't need a high-end graphics card. Just something to run LFS and nfs world when it comes out, both of which don't demand a fast computer to run them.

Idc about how realistic the physics are. As long as cars are driveable, they are acceptable to me.

I agree with adamlfs on the dirt on the car thing. If I get a tiny stain, I will take it to the car wash instantly.

Unless it is a 4x4, then I'll try to get as much dirt on it as possible!

My computer had really a old graphics card so it would definately not run TDU2 in double digit numbers.

I'll get the PS3 version instead.
