I voted for Brandons48 since I think his pic is the best and I don't have any ideas for a theme.

I don't think it was delayed in the first place. When was it ever confirmed for a release for the rest of the world? Don't be suprised if this gets pushed back too:

Quote :Sony was eying a vague "Summer 2010" release

It isn't confirmed, they just think they could release it by then.

On the other hand, if PD can release a stable demo on Thursday, why is it taking so long to finish the game? The development speed is worse than LFS's.

@ Bean0:

Quote :Bad...

RallyX - Full contact circuit racing, 2-3 laps
Raid - Point to point in big stupid trucks.
Landrush - See RallyX, big stupid trucks.

I don't think Rally Raid is that bad anyway. The big trucks are actually OK to drive. The only ones I use are the 1993 Pajero and the Bowler Wildcat and they handle pretty well. At least that aren't as bad as the buggies and trophy trucks. *shivers*

Quote :Good unlockable cars include RS200, Metro 6R4, 1995 Scoob, Mk2 Escort.

There is also 1 bad unlockable car: Dallenbach Special. Yes, it is a good car, but that is the problem; it is too good. It has a huge power and handling advantage over the other Trailblazer cars so everyone who unlocks it will drive it online.

S1 has more realistic gauges (yes, I know they don't work. :razz

As for the tree, I think that is just a waste of fps, so I don't mind them taking it out.

Yeah, stock car racing is fun on Shift (Offline that is. Just use a Works Murcielargo or Zonda R online!) It is the only way I can enjoy the slow cars like the Focus ST, Civic Si and the... umm.... Scirocco.

Quote from brandons48 :I just raced a stock GT3RS against a Works 'rocco around the ring, the rocco kept on me through a few corners, then the stupid little bastard crashed me.

Not really a game for clean racing.

If that was online, then what do you expect? Of course people are going to race like that on a game which has opponents. That is what I like about DiRT 2's rally/trailblazer online. The competitors are either staged 10 secs after the car before or ghost cars.

If that was offline, then you could have just crashed the AI at Turn 1!

I like the way you can tune cars in Nitto 1320 Legends, with loads of parts for each car and thinking carefully about what you do you your car, but putting that into a sim like LFS, and that could be very complicated.

Quote from dutchshogun :HELP! LFS turned green!

*I still miss those dual exhausts *

Next thing you know there is going to be a XRH - XR Hybride, or a UF that runs on electricity only!

btw, nice pic Flame, the Graphics hasn't come away too far, but the level of detailing sure has! Just goes to show you don't need a super computer to have great graphics.

Happy Birthday Scawen, just remember Physics/Scirocco > Making Babies

Meh, can't argue with that.

Speaking of babies, I can't wait for One of his children to grow up and be a computer geek. They could either end up being trolls or leaking us with info to do with development.

Yeah, because DX10324439783425 makes everything so shiny and much better than the graphics consoles are capable of.

Behind all the DX whatever number they come up with next, you still know you are just playing the same game? If you want to brag about who has the best graphics, have fun spending alot of money and wasting time upgrading your graphics card each year.

Month acutally.

DiRT 2 still hasn't come out for PC users.

I like DiRT 2. One of the most fun rally games to come out for a while. I'll even say it is more fun than Motorstorm (1 that is. I didn't get PR.)

Quote from PLAYLIFE :Why is everybody so convinced that S3 will cost additional £12?? Why not 14 or 16? Stop presenting your pretty bad guess as a fact!!

You know how everyone here likes to speculate. It seems kinda realistic anyway, with each upgrade costing £12.

Kinda more of a comparison rather than an edit, but here is shift vs lfs. Well being on a lfs forum, I know which one people will like more.
