So? Even if it was based on a Porsche 911 it would not have to be a 4WD. But it doesn't matter.
The reason I pointed the difference out was because gekkibi seemed to have read too much into what was written in the wiki. It is important that things like these are sorted so people won't be disappointed as they unlock S2 expecting something that's not there.

Unless the speed test is lying your upload bandwidth is approximately 500 kb (kilobit). That means that, in theory, you'll only be able to host one full server allowing 13 cars on track and one spectator at 4 PPS. At most!
If IGA in the form of billboards would make it possible for us to seal a deal with a sponsor which could provide a service that would be relevant to our community (such as web- or game server hosting) I would not hesitate to use it.
We're currently using an Insim button to display a banner for 60 seconds as you connect to server. Even though only one single person has had a complaint I'd much rather use billboard advertising. (FYI the person in question withdrew his complaint when he realized that displaying that particular banner had made it possible for us to upgrade our previously struggling server).
How about making use of LFS slogans (the online racing simulator. / No arcade modes, no steering aids. YOU have to do the driving.) and printing the full website address?
Last summer I was promoting LFS at my local kart track and I'm planning to do the same thing this summer. I've got permission to put up some posters and I'm thinking some more info on them wouldn't hurt. What do you think?
I'm quite surprised to see that such a large number of racers have names turned on! I might tap the N key a few times if I'm about to lap someone and would like to know who it is before I do. Other than that I never race with names above cars. The position list is enough for me to work out who's who.
Frankly, I'd like to see all cars start in the pits at the start of a race session. Though I'm not suggesting everyone would have to do an out lap. No, a "go to grid" button would do absolutely fine. This would minimize the risk of having an AFK driver on the grid (which happens quite often in pick-up races and every now and then in league racing as well).
To incorporate your idea into this, all Scawen would have to do is to remove the "go to grid"-button for those who haven't qualified.
Looks like there were just below 500 racers online at peak hours during patch X. When patch Y was released there was an increase, obviously. Now we're back to to "normal", or perhaps a bit above.
Thank you for the confirmed date. I'm still interested but definitely not ready to confirm my attendance yet. I am not particularly interested in the biking of quads.
Should this happen again a quick fix would be to block that particular content from within the browser. Opera, for example has a built-in 'block content' feature while Firefox has the 'Adblocker' plugin (if I'm not mistaken).
OR you could simply deactive signatures alltogether!
