I think a scripting languagewould be better suited and better to learn,
Bringing a higher leval (or lower leval, i mean) form of LFSScript that functions like an object oriented language would make much more sense. Something that is easy to update on the fly, and it could run much like a clientsite script, being parsed as LFS runs.
Purely for styling reasons, without performanche changes, that way rims are chosen for tast, or to match a skin, instead of performance (to prevent a rim from dominating)
This is also something that can deliberately paint incorrect lines if a server is full of noob specificly trying to follow the dark area (warping it off further )
And yest you forget about the people with bad connections, there are also servers that will use AI as gridfillers just to broaden the race grid (eg,, 4pple can make recing empty, )
And i think you are being a bit ignorant! ^^ read above the entire thread to see the poor ppl that suffer because of bad ai...
Good comment but you are forgetting about the noobs . Noob could be training the AI to drive like noobs, ... possibly?,,, im guessing!
Yes.... to overtake while maintaining constant awareness.... If only AI attempted clean overtakes, but aborted if it sees the (obvious immenent crash before it happens with the) player in a 'bad' or 'unpassable' spot!
actually my sentence was never finished.... but it was gonna be something about these really odd and unusual and unrealistic suggestions that demo racers tend to give.....
