How about a couple of screenshots? Have you extracted your LFS folder?

Bobby,

I wouldn't worry about the tyres heating at different rates. On a track full of left turns you want the right tyres warming, you don't have to worry too much about the left tyres because they hardly used.

That's quite funny. Not even one of them made it. What are the odds on that.

Quote from tristancliffe :Stop belittling yourself Kev - you are quick, and there is no doubt about it. Maybe not quite as quick as me (), but quick nonetheless. Sure there are faster people than both of us, but I'd be willing to bet that there are more slower than faster. Chin up, and right pedal down.

I think it's a ruse to try and makes all feel sorry for him, by going slower. Maybe it's just age playing it's part. Moaning old codgers these days

Kev you are quick, so shut up

Quote from J.B. :For the same reasons that other people look for new jobs. I think it's quite obvious that he simply doesn't want to be in F1 any longer. He's fed up. It's not that the drives he could get are not good enough, it's not that he feels he is not good enough himself, it's just that he isn't enjoying being in F1. He is a proper racer and current F1 just doesn't offer what he is looking for. The cars are boring, overtaking is almost impossible, regularly trying to overtake will just get you into trouble with fellow racers, press, fans and team bosses.

To me Montoya leaving should be seen as a big wake up call for F1 rather than simply the retirement of a failed driver. I agree that Montoya is not on the level of Kimi, MS and Alonso in terms of consistancy and intelligence but if a racer like him can't find a place in F1 then something is wrong with F1. The fans have been saying for years that F1 is crap. I feel that Montoya is the first driver to seriously come to the same conclusion.

I totally agree. As I stated earlier, the little entertainment that he brought to F1 has now gone and I have to sit and watch Alonso hot lap on his own for an hour and a half. Brilliant, I'd rather watch paint dry myself.

Maybe it's the rules, maybe it's the regulations or maybe it's the fact that T.V bosses hardly ever show anything other than replays of the scraps that happen lower down the field. I want to see the the action live. I tell you one thing, if it doesn't improve F1 will have one less viewer pretty sharpish.

I don't know why you are all rejoicing, it takes away any humour we had. It'll be like watching Scalectrix now!

I can understand your frustration but unfortunately it goes with the territory. As for coming on here to publish your discontent, I would imagine it was the first place you thought of, but what exactly can we do?

I would suggest that you take a little time out to calm down and then make rational decisions rather than acting on adrenaline.

I didn't even click one of them, and that wasn't a conscious decision either.

I very rarely click sponsor ad's full stop, in fact I often get irritated by them. I think companies should bear that in mind when spamming us with adverts.

Yeah I like the schedule. I may be able to prop the rear of the field up.

I just get the feeling Paffett isn't really wanted in a racing seat by Ron Dennis. I think he'd rather have Hamilton, seeing as he seems to be on his shoulder at every GP weekend.

Quote from XCNuse :i dont know.. but i have noticed lately how MANY threads keep being made up.. daily; theres been like 30+ threads created each day

it used to be like.. 5 or so

i got a better idea; like in CGTalk, when your new, your first like 5 posts or so have to be looked at by moderators so they aren't something stupid (like here it would be.. another ... oh my god some looser banned me .... now help)

Good idea, but more work for the moderators.

This is a really complex problem in all forums. There are no definitive ways of tackling it.

Quote from Albieg :Re-edit: and regarding the Italian brigade, you're wrong.

Maybe that was harsh, but the first thing I thought was how long it was going to take till another Italian other than your respected self, who would flame me.

I agree, however the only option is to lock threads.

I also think that sometimes, members get involved in these stupid threads by spamming etc etc. Just let one member say whats wrong with the thread and let it be locked, instead of 20 members adding their 2p.

Quote from SpaceMarineITA :Italy outplayed France in the first half time.
It's true that France played better in the second and during ETs, but during Euro 2000 finals Italy outplayed France for all the entire match, but a lucky shot from Treseguet made France winning the cup.

What happened yesterday is only the opposite (with treseguet involved too), so i dont understand why most of the people here are whining against Italy's victory.

It's always the same story:
If Italy lose, all say that they played in a bad way.
If Italy win, all say that they played in a bad way too.
We never complained against your victories, so please stfu.

The best match played in this WC was Ita - Ger, and had been won by Italy, that played better then Germany during quite the entire match.
And imho that was the funniest WC match of the last 12 years (the last 4 WCs).

Be more openminded guys, don't think that all the things related to Italy or
something Italian became bad only because you think that they are.

Haha, people like you make me laugh. Victimisation of your country. Don't be stupid, I love Italy as a country and I'd rather live there than her in the UK. The fact is France were the better team, Italy were the most boring team in the finals and to tell me to stfu isn't going to do you any favours.

If you spoke to people like that in real life you wouldn't last 5 minutes. I knew I'd get the Italian brigade when I started arguing against Albeig. As for being open-minded, maybe you should look in the mirror!

This sounds like you haven't unlocked the game. When you open LFS. After the credits screen. in the bottom left hand corner there is an unlock box. Here you have to type in your Username and Game Password. That should unlock all the content.

EDIT: Beaten to it :P

Quote from Albieg :You're allowed to your opinion as long as I'm allowed to mine, but we're talking about MAJOR sport and criminal investigations with more than 100,000 phone calls that have been listened to by the prosecutors, and with prosecutors who have absolutely no knowledge of football. In fact, Saverio Borrelli was one of the most prominent prosecutors in "Clean Hands" back in the nineties. He has never attended a single football match, but he'll be forever part of Italian history for the job he had done years later. These are few facts to show that investigations have been broad and wide, and that the prosecutors know how to judge very well.
And regarding your preference, you're allowed to that too. The answer on the pitch was more than enough, for me.

100,000 phone calls, what about the 1 that may have had all the info, which they may not have listened too. You never know.

Italy got lucky, in my opinion France over the 120 minutes outplayed Italy. Italy's superb penalty taking won them them World Cup, Zidane's sending off didn't make that much difference. Trezeguet would still have taken a penalty.

Quote from axus :I now pronounce you husband and wife!

Chill! It seems you both are taking two phrases of what the other is saying, putting it out of context and commenting on it.

Keep out of it you buffoon! We are having a discussion, it doesn't need you to get involved.
