I wasn't questioning the integrity of the players involved at the World Cup, just the state of the country's game as a whole.

How deep do you know it has gone? You don't. I doubt that even the prosecutors know. For all we know all the Italian team may have been involved. It's just not possible to know all the facts.

I would imagine Materazzi must have said something pretty bad for Zidane to have reacted that way. I would think in such a high pressure situation if you had been verbally abused, you would have reacted in a far more violent way. I hope this doesn't end up tarnishing what has been a fantastic career.

On the actual winners of the World Cup, I'm disappointed. A country who's top league is under investigation for match fixing and played some of the most boring football I've seen in my life ends up winning.

At least it wasn't Portugal though. I for one am beginning to get fed up with the state of Premiership, European and International football. I'd rather watch my local team playing honest.

It wouldn't surprise me if Williams kicked Webber. To me he seems like a guy who quite likes himself, although I think he has done a lot of good stuff outside of motorsports that he should be applauded for.

I would imagine in a really quick car he would be quite decent, but really he is just an average driver who drives with some consistency. I can't imagine him driving for Red Bull and I would like to think Renault would go for Heikki Kovalainen.

Any other ideas for a likely destination?

I use a 9-3 grip on the wheel, to me it seems the most natural and it was the position that I adopted the first time I touched a wheel. Apparently I will have to change this by the time I actually decide to start driving for real, it's just too blooming expensive right now...students these days

Back on topic, fair play to the guy, it's often a good thing to change the scenery when things aren't going great.

I'll be watching with interest how he does.

I think you'll struggle, the turnout for the LFS Demo league has been low I think, so for people to do a 24 hour race....

I totally agree.

Whatever anyone says I believe the general quality of drivers in regards to the points above have fallen. There are still friends/names that play the game who you can trust, but too often now you feel like a race is in the lap of the gods.

The only option available is to make a set of rules appear before each race with a time lag, making sure they read them. Then server admins must start to get tough and ban, instead of trying to be politically correct. Warn, Remind, Ban.

I also love the banger racing, and I do flip the cars back over. However I think it's a stupid rule to be honest and would rather it didn't exist. Guys it's still a race and if you get flipped thats hard luck. It comes with the territory in my opinion.

It seems like a decent setup, I will post on the vMax forums to try and gather some vMax interest.

I prefer a lighter force feedback because if the FF is high I tend to jerk the wheel in a reaction and therefore spin the car. I suppose it's personal preference but if it's "breaking" your thumbs then maybe you should lower the setting?

I'd personally rather the old style qualifying be bought back, even if it has to be shortened a tad. It gave the poorer teams chance to go out on track early and give sponsors much needed TV airtime. They get none now!
