I met Princess Diana at Earls Court many moons ago when I was in the RN. she spoke to us briefly before her entourage dragged her away, I'm sure she fancied me
Fish, from Marillion, used to sit and drink with us in my hometown (Haddington) local, he is one big ugly sod with a gorgeous wife. Also met Lemmy from Motorhead at Fish's wedding, that was cool. (I wasn't at the wedding btw, I'm not that up there unfortunately)
Fish used to practise at our local Corn Exchange. Not seen him around for a while I believe he's lost the plot a bit these days!
But nothing compares with meeting Timmy Mallet you are one lucky fella!

Reason : still can't frikin spell!
Well at least he'll have a good lie in his hospital bed while recovering. Although he's a fairway from home the nurse can bring him a nice cup of tee in the morning, he takes fore sugars.
Maybe he was drunk, too many Long Island Ice Tees.
Or perhaps he had his car set-up wrong, maybe too much wedge caused him to bunker of the road when he was driving.
Anyway who gives an Albatross.
Anyone else want to chip-in with any more nonsense, thankfully my eagle eyes spotted this thread
Radicals at Road America is my favourite combo. My last race there people were asking whether to use tall or medium gears and how much fuel to use just before the race started! I found this a bit worrying
Wow just noticed I'm leading Div 2 of the Radicals, my best ever position in any series
Licenses, with the exception of Pro, are really just an indication of how long you've been a member of iRacing and are in no way an indication of driver skills (IMO). I get my butt whooped by so called Rookies all the time.
Just drive what ever takes your fancy. The Spec Racer Ford is a great little car, I'm intending to do a full season in it this time round, well inbetween Radical, Truck and Mazda. I was going to squeeze in the Daytona Prototype but can never find any races, it seems to have died a death since the arrival of the Corvette and Dallara.
I've just had a quick race round Mosport with the Corvette. It really is very very very good. Got to go my wifes waiting on us going to Edinburgh so can't play with it more today. Damn personal life always gets in the way!
Go into the stats and you can see the WR's. As for replays, you can save your own or people post them, just check out the forums.
It's week 13 at the moment, inbetween seasons. You can race the Spec Racer Ford and the Legends in an official race, I would suggest you do this pronto so you can get promoted to D before the start of the new season. You only need to compete in two official races for both the oval and Road, or four time trials. Try to be as clean as posssible to try and gain safety rating as well.
Being week 13 you can race for fun in all the other servers without it affecting your iRating or safety rating. If you have the content anyway.
Also hosted racing has just started so you can jump in any of those servers for fun races not affecting your Safety rating.
It's worthwhile reading the user guide and the Sporting code in the refernce section for more info.
Did you get the Radical trial? Just wondering if it's still useable?
Come and join us at the Celtic Club John, we've got a good little club going. All the Scottish, Irish and Welsh iRacing members, one of the smallest in iRacing. Wester Europe champs this season Not down to me I may add!
Had a few laps around Mosport in the Spec Racer Ford, it surely is a fun track.
Anyone else noticed the adjustable mirrors in the cars now?
Hmm maybe time for another bit of good natured banter with the English, wonder if they need more driving lessons?
College girls, or any girls for that matter, are fantastic until such time you try and adjust their set-up to suit your driving style. Then all the graphics in the world don't matter
(I should get out more)
Oh and yep pre-ordered the new content and it cost $18
Got to say I am really looking forward to the Corvette.
And lets hope with the new pricing structure we get a load more people joining up, although somehow i'm not so sure unfortunately. I really think those that are likely to try and stick with iRacing will have already done so, from the sim racing world anyway. Maybe more non-simming motor sports fanatics will come.
I also think that there is a problem that stops younger members from joining is that you need a credit card/paypal account. Mind you listening to some old codgers on the iRacing forums you don't get any respect until your over bleedin 40 anyway
AJ , you up for a Radical battle next season? I'm going to run the DP, Radical and trucks full time and try and compete in whatever league i'm put in. Mind you no doubt I'll have to squeeze in the Corvette as well.
What are you guys planning on running next season?
Oh and Moose get yer candy butt back in there! and you PMD. StableX has cookies for everyone that rejoins!

Reason : Been at it for over 40 years but still can't spell
In my humble opinion CTRA was the best thing in LFS, it single handidly got me totally hooked on sim racing. I have not enjoyed LFS so much since it's demise.
Ye I know there's plenty of other good servers, leagues etc but none as readily accessible for some quick pick up racing with a goal.
