The 3 screen support works very well. But, my cars are all now shiny and blue which I don't like, any way of getting this 'lighting' effect back to the original?

Thanks.

Edit: never mind I am a numpty, sorry

Deliver to Europe, price is £124.99 though. Give it a few weeks and those side-grading to a G27 may sell their G25's cheap.

At this time of the morning my pet guinee pig called "wabbit" is my bestest buddy. Me and him will be watching the race together as best buddies should.

Quote :If you are looking for a good Scottish beer, a pint of Belhaven Best is the way to go.

You are so wrong, Belhaven is just horrid! A good pint of Tennents cannot be beaten, not that Tennents Special blue can stuff or any other of their 'super' lagers. Can you remember when they used to have the good looking girls on the Tennents cans? A bit like page 3.

Try here for some inspration

Or here for DIY motion simulator (I'm actually thinking of doing something to my existing Nixim cockpit, reading through the link below it doesn't seem that difficult if you've got a little bit of technical knowhow)

http://www.x-simulator.de/forum/

This is pretty detailed

If someone comes up with an original detailed design of there own for 36 quid then I will eat my race helmet.

My wife regrets the day I stumbled across lfs, but me I can say I've never had so much fun for £24.

Well maybe playing strip poker with a bunch of Saudi Airline stewardesses in Bahrain after a vickers and tarts party....but that's another story as it cost me more than £24 for the fine I got from the Navy for missing my ship sailing the next morning...damnit I wish I was young again!

Unfortunately they've cancelled the free trials due to nincompoops ubusing it by signing up with fake names and causing mayhem on the Rookie servers.

Losing to the Faroe's is pretty bad. I'd put it down to some of your team having played in Scottish football with Hearts

I wonder if Boyd would have missed all these chances tonight? Anyway as usual defeat grasped from the jaws of victory

It has a gated feel and the H-Gate works very well. It doesn't take that much getting used to, but the gear change feels more like your moving an electrical switching lever than any mechanical transmission that I've ever tried.

Guess the Scotland v Holland score correctly and win :simsox:

I'll go for 1 v 0 to Scotland, but we still fail to qualify due to some crazy other results scenario.

Quote from jbirdaspec :My best advice if you don't want to try and fix the one you have is to save a bit more and get a Lightning SST. It is a superb shifter. I own one and I can tell you it is awesome. Use the paddles while you save up. It is worth it. It is tough, feels super smooth and is ultra precise. The SST will cost you 168 Euros shipped. A bit more then your 120 budget I know, but I believe you would find it worth it. I have used the Actlabs and it feels junky. No offense to anyone that has one, but the SST is a far superior shifter.

- Jay Odom

The SST is very good for super fast H-box shifting in competative racing. It's very well made, extremely strong and looks great with a custom knob . The only down side for me is that it does not feel realistic in comparison to any real life H-box shift arrangement that I've ever driven. It's maybe too precise for me. Still well worth the money I would say though

Hehe I'm not that much of a numpty (arguably), I meant the cinematography showing the complete film through the perspective of a cheap video camera can be tiresome due to the constant camera movement. This was what I first thought may be the case, but it is very well done actually, I was surprised.

I wish that I lived close by as I'd come down to the roadside and accidently trip you up as you ran by, just enough mind to cause slight damage your calf muscle. Then, being the honourable chap that I am, offer to help you to the line. Of course with my support the line would be crossed at eaxctly 2:14:22.

"What would you do" for an LFSVoucher code?

I'm not at home now so can't 100% confirm or rightly remember exactly, but moving the z-buffer down a notch solved this problem for me I do believe.

I have no idea or care what the z-buffer actually is or does, but I found that it worked just by trial and error and a determination to get it working.

Using XP, TH2go digital at 5040x1050@57. (Works with both GTX285 and 8800gtx). The frame rate loss, even with the 8800GTX, is almost non existent with LFS.

Not experienced any other problems at all with TH2go and LFS.

If anyone is thinking about Th2go, and you'd be crazy not to even think about it as it is the single best simming investment in my worthless opinion, be sure to check out http://www.widescreengamingforum.com for a list of monitors that are confirmed to work at 57Hz, not all do as I found out!

Dell 2408 wfp work ok.
