This is a bit O/T but is it possible to make the wheels shinyer to make a chrome effect?

TC, because on other cruise servers hardly anyone talks, and i could see no community there. On TC there are the regular players, who are all very friendly, and the admins are strict but fair. When i went to LTC once, i got rammed 4 times :/ I don't like CLC because you get fined ridiculous amounts of money if you time out, which i do a lot. TC is mainly focused on the driving, instead of pointless mini games. I'll bet most of the people who voted no against TC because of the admins got banned fairly by them. Just because you get yourself banned, doesn't mean its a bad server.

This would be quite simple to implement, if LFSw allows users to upload JPGs and DDS skin files, so others can see skins with sunroofs.

It is possible to put the RS logo on the wheel, but it is not possible to change the wheel shape. The dials are likewise impossible

If you have a wheel, try unplugging it first. Try restarting the host again, and de select the keyboard and mouse, so the accelerometer is only mapped to the X/Y axis. Start LFS, click on joystick/wheel, tilt it, and you should see it moving.

Because you can use it instead of a joypad or wheel if you don't have one, and have an ipod, but don't want to spend anymore money. Eg, i have a wheel on my desktop, but when i'm on the go i use my ipod for my lappy instead of kb.

HI all, i recently got an all in 1 touchsmart IQ500 PC. It is great, but the gfx card is pretty awful. I was wondering (as its an all in one PC) if it is possible to upgrade the graphics card?

Hi all,

I recently discovered how to use your iPod touch or iPhone as a controller for LFS. It is very easy to set up if you follow these steps.

First of all

This only works IF

• Your PC runs XP/Vista (MUST be 32bit, it does NOT work with 64bit)
  
• You have a personal wireless network (with router)
  

1. Open the AppStore on your apple device, and search for "ZooZ control Pro" There is a free version, but this version is not compatible with LFS, so don't waste your time. The Pro version costs around £1.20, which is not too much.
   
2. Go to www.zoozcontrol.com and download the PC host software.
   
3. Then install the software provided (On my laptop this worked fine, but the drivers would not work on my desktop :really
   
4. Open the application on your apple device. It will give you an IP adress
   
5. In the ZooZ application, click 'connect to iPod/iPhone' and enter the IP shown on your apple device
   
6. When it is connected, you are now ready to set up your controller. There are two simple ways to do this:
   

• You can steer by tilting the device from side to side, and use buttons for throttle and brake. This is very simple to set up. Under the accelerometer heading on your pc program, ensure that 'Map to X/Y axis' is ticked. Then set whichever buttons you choose (i use 5 and 6) to be throttle and brake. Then open LFS, then to the options menu, and where is says 'Throttle and Brake axes', click buttons, then assign the relevant buttons.
  
• You can steer by tilting the device and accelerate and brake by tiliting the device back and forth. To do this, do exactly the same as above, but where it says 'Throttle and Brake axes' in LFS, click combined instead. Then set up other buttons like horn, handbrake, gear shifts etc.
  

It is great fun, and it takes a while to get used to,and the ZooZ control app can be used as a wireless mouse as well

Did i ask for a new graphics engine? No, just some slightly better models (eg. RB4 and helmet)

Maybe for the next patch of LFS, there could be higher poly models of cars and the helmet? I'm not a 3d modeller but i doubt it will be too hard to make the models look a bit better.

You don't get banned from forums if you break the secret, you only get banned for releasing mods. Searching for .vob mods doesn't work, as many people have found out. Pretty much the only way to get them is if you know the creators.

I have tried going online with modified .vob's and i did not get an OOS error. In answer to your first question, it is possible to edit the .vob files, but only a very few amount of people can do it, and they never share their secrets

there is just one problem. I have done succesful reflective floors before, and i used exactly the same settings as i did before for the floor, but if you look only the cars shadows are reflecting. Can anyone help? Thanks

Lol, if you are ever going to start a cruise server you will need a unique insim, servers with free insims are always empty. If you arn't willing to pay like i did, you aint getting one

It is possible to get the F1 wheel in the RAC if you know how to mod .vob files. But be aware this is illegal in LFS and you may get your licence taken

I have a good friend with a similar problem, it would be nice if someone could help?

Quite a lot of people don't have them as they arn't allowed to be released. They get spread around via msn, so get to know people from LFS on msn and soon you will have car mods
