well its not really for racing, as you'll notice the cars have slightly less power than usual, and have a little bit of weight on the front as well

just finished perfecting some begginer setups for the XRT and RAC. These setups arent designed to give quick lap times, they are designed to make driving rwd cars easier for begginers, and for them to improve their racing technique and perfect their lines. they grip much more than the standard set ups but the have a little less power

you dont need a setup just ruin the tires by doing donuts and when they are on red, spin the wheels and put the brakes on

Hi im RS1T ive had S2 for a while now, never really took off with racing and got bored as i was so bad at it, so then i discovered cruise servers. Here i found a friendly, relaxing and fun way to play, where there is no pressure on you to be a skilled driver or to have a wheel( i use a kb). In the cruise servers there are lots of fun things like earning virtual money to buy better cars, getting involved in police pursuits. I have made loads of friends in the servers and we like just cruising around the track together without any pressure. SOME people seem to have a problem with cruising ( i wont mention any names but you know who you are). I know it sounds hard to believe but cruisers are now a big part of this game. And the sooner the DieHard Race fans accept that we are just as entitled as they are to make suggestions for the next patch, or insim server suggestions the better. Just browsing around on this forum the second anyone mentions anything about cruising some people (usually the same ones) make comments like 'whats the point in cruise servers delete them all' and 'how sad do you have to be to drive around earning virtual money?' In a thread making a suggestion for cruise servers a moderator suggested that any suggestions to improve the game that was not purely for racing was a waste of dev time. It is NOT as there are a huge amount of cruisers playing, and the cruisers are the customers too, and when the devs update the game it will have new features helpful to all customers, whether they are racers, drifters or even cruisers. My main point is this HUGE negative attitude has got to stop. A forum is supposed to be a place where people can exchange thoughts and ideas (and other things) in a friendly and mature way. But on the cruising front i have seen a lot of unfriendly and childish remarks about Cruisers on this forum. I have seen similar remarks about drifters as well. There are A LOT of people who enjoy the sim for cruising and drifting, and inevitably they bring in a fair chunk of the income for the game, and as our money helps pay for further development of the game, i feel that it is fair that cruisers and drifters should make suggestions and comments about drifting and cruising without getting crap from the racers the whole time.

I DID NOT START THIS THREAD FOR PEOPLE TO MAKE COMMENTS, ON HOW CRUISERS ARE BAD... etc. etc. OR TO START AN ARGUMENT, THIS WAS STARTED TO BRING THE PROBLEM TO THE ATTENTION OF SOMEBODY WITH THE POWER TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT

As for the topic, I have no respect for anyone who has to become a drug dealer in order to have fun in LFS, and absolutely none at all for whoever put it there in the first place. Replace the drugs with something else, fruit, sweets, model cars, whatever. Still has the same effect (I agree, a standard stock market wouldn't be very fun), but drugs aren't involved. Drugs are serious shit, and have no place in a U-rated game.

i agree completely with you about the drugs being out of place in a U rated game, but tbh the drugs in LC are fairly harmless and are hardly going to make an 8 year old kid playing the game go on a dope spree. I hope you see where im coming from.

I dont know why everyone is getting so worked up about the drugs thing...it is completely harmless. The only this it could possibly result in is a ten year old kid asking his mum, What is valium??? It has nothing to do with drugs, apart from the names. You buy them at a certain price, which constantly varies, so you have to use your Brain to work out when is a good time to buy and sell. It is just like a minature version of the stock market just with the items named as drugs to make the server seem more fun, and ppl saying 'ohh what kind of sad person would play because of the drugs' just piss me off. The drug thing is just a disguise to make simple stock market techniques appear more interesting, as economics is as boring as shit tbh. And anyway this topic has gone off topic completely from some guy who was just wondering if another demo server could be opened up. People like the LC server because it lives up to its name - ITS LIBERAL. It is more fun than the TC server because you dont loose 100 euros per second if you go 10mph over the speed limit, they allow you to use more fun cars like the MRT and FBM, and you dont get banned for making the slightest mistake. So please i beg all of you idiots, STOP posting things about 'ohh why would anyone want to play on LC' its just a waste of your post, it is not constructive and does not help anybody

Did you ever think about the fact that LFS's output actually ONLY HAS three dimensions, namely VISUALS (probably about 98% of the experience), audio and some force on your wheel?

It'd be just an easy way of having a more heterogenous field without having to really add cars. Of course I'm not against adding another bunch of cars to every class.


... but oh yeah, let's rather have the devs add "realistic" features. just like our beloved clutch-temperature gimmick. this was sssssooooo great and took the realism to a completely new level. this made LFS clutches more realistic than real ones.

hi been playing the demo for a while just got an s2 licence, and i can see all these jpegs of new skins but how do i get them into the game?

I play S2 on my laptop, but when other cars appear on screen my fps slows right down to about 6-10, so i just spin out and have no hope of playing competitively. Is there anyway i can get a better fps without buying a new graphics chip?
