I personally have managed to save a lot of money as my pc system is 5 years old and the most frequent game I play on it is LFS.

I still have athlon xp 2600, a7n8x board, radeon 9800pro and havent really upgraded anything apart from buying my self a new hdd. I spent the £70 to get my momo racing 3 years ago and that was probably about it.

So I think i have saved a lot of money over the years thanks to the great entertaiment LFS has given me so I didnt need to seek any other games to satisfy my needs..

Well, I am in favour of scrapping the post count all together, the bar that would show how much of a frequent poster you are was an alternative to the prestent post count. I understand that it is just another method of showing ones frequency and forum activity but its one that wouldn't precisely show you how many posts you have made therefore people wouldn't necesarily post like crazy to get those 10 extra posts to reach the 100 mark, 2000 mark and so on.

So if you take my example, in my case I have 1308 posts so instead of showing the number it would say "moderate" (the moderate range being between 1000 posts to 3000 posts) somewhere under my name. It still wouldnt really mean anything to me but would just be there as extra info.

Now I couldn't care less what status I have on this forum as it means peanuts to me and i am sure to others too.

But I am all for scrapping it just like RSC has done.

Yeah, I agree with this 100%!! Post count should be scrapped because it is quite useless/pointless and it often results in spamming by some people who just want to get their postcount up because they think it gives them some sort of status on the forum.

I would rather instead of the post count have a progression bar that would simply say how frequent of a forum user you are.

or something along those lines, kinda like the STCC licensing system. So the message above the progression bar would change according to how many post you have made since joining but it would actually show the number of posts made...

btw can some one tell me why the online status light disappeared from below the avatar? I was wondering about this, I use to use it to see who is online. The light disappeared when Victor disabled the avatars in the pre patch period last year... now you only see it when you view members profile

Just finished reading all of the 10 pages, I see its been a rather busy night.

Can't believe hat Phlos is at it again!!!! I think this time though its quite serious and there may be action taken against him. What I dont understand is why would anyone do all this to LFS (including what he has done in the past years) in order to get the devs attention so that they would make him part of the team. illepall This is just nuts....

He seems to be quite a clever guy when it comes to coding BUT an idiot when it comes to decision making, his morals as Jakg pointed out are seriously screwed up. If he thinks that by hacking a forum ScaViEr will offer him to help out with LFS he must be seriously retarted.

If only he would make better use of his own time and come up with something that would actually show a different side to him and ad something to the LFS community rather then always come up with ways that do nothing but harm to LFS....

I think that Kyalami and Goodwood are two great tracks... quite easy to run on and not insanely long...

Nice pic Dajmin, here in Portsmouth (the arse end of Britain ) we were told in would snow, but instead we had strong winds and the predicted snow turned into rain. It has been raining since about 2am.

I have to agree with that, the pilot asked a number of times whether they had any friendlies in the area, and he was told by the air traffic control "no, area is clear" when you are working in the army it is a team effort and you rely on people havily (especially pilots) so when someones tells you area is clear you have to believe it is clear. For me it was the air traffic controlers fault, pilot only did what he was told. But i guess in any line of work mistakes will happen especially when you are at war.

It is sad what happened.

I use to have it around 92 but I now use 75 or less.

this is quite old, had them and binned them(well actually sold them). The 3D effect is really rather poor and they really hurt your eyes due to the refresh rates. It was also very difficult to play games and wear these specs.. The 3D effect also depends on the game, not all games are supported and not all games give you the same 3D effect.

edit: I played Unreal Tournament 2004 with them and that was quite cool but some games gave no 3d effect what so ever.

:Eyecrazy::tired::eek::eye-poppi:bigeyes2::drugs::hypnotize all of these prety much sum up how your eyeballs feel after an hours play.

I've just been checking out websites as I have to order a laptop for a friend, nearly every website now sells laptops with Vista preinstalled, you cant get one with windows xp anymore. He doesnt want Vista and this thread make me want it even less. Cant believe how quickly people are forcing you to buy it, you should still have the choice to choose between Vista and XP.....
