yeah, we need some slow chicanes to add to the mix of the already present corner collection in LFS. I mean lfs has chicanes but they are or can be all taken flat out. Fern bay has a few but you can just throw the car in without descreasing speed by much. I quite like what they did with the Bus stop at Spa. It use to be a fast chicane but they changed it and made it a lot longer so now cars are forced to reduce speed drastically and take the chicane properly..

hmm what makes a race for me, well must be LFS

no really i enjoy when someone who is closely matched in speed as I am and has a good battle with me however i do prefer to chase than be chased but aslong as i have some fun racing than forever i shall be satisfied.

Winning in lfs doesnt bother me as much unless its in a league, ofcourse i would like to win and be the fastest driver on the team, who wouldnt but really aslong as i have some fun during the 1h30m race than i am happy.

man what a shocker, one off my favourite people on television. Did hear last night he was stable before i went to bed so i guess/hope thats a sign off good news and that he is on his way to recovery. I heard that the accident happened while the parachute opened to slow the car down so i bet he probably was doing less the 280mph but still serious speed..

Yeah this car is nice! I personally think its the best looking car in lfs. I've just been browsing through the gallery on the raceabout website and they have some cool photos there. I really like how simple they have kept the interior.

The gear stick certainly look interesting, it kind of looks like the end of a fluorescent light tube.

Damn i want a raceabout now!!!

looks like a funny film, suprised it wasnt blocked from being produced due to the content and they way it shows Kazaghstan and its people..

its quite strange what people regard as humour these days. I mean if someone from an arab nation decided to make a film about how silly people are say in UK and America i doubt many people would laugh then, Blair and Bush would probably regard it as an attack on our democracy, hell the producer would be probably labeled as terrorist...

maybe we need to get Scawen to program some of the rules yellow/blue flags into the lfs lessons so that newbies learn the rules and how to let a car by under blue flags.

So for example:

You would start on track at speed, the ai would be programmed to be very quick and to catch up to you and pass you in maybe an akward place on track and you would have to let them through safely. I know at present the ai is rather dumb but once improved it could work, also maybe implement some kind of a limit to how long or how many times the blue flag is shown before you get a drive through penalty or something like that.

Not sure you need a lesson on yellow flags but i have comea cross people who ignore the yellows totaly and end up taking me out if i have spun and caused the yellows..

Was just thinking what if the 500 logo was made from servers stacked on top of each other. You could model a server (simple rectanle) in 3d stack loads of serves up at certain angles so that they make up the 500 and then render it off at some good angle, make it nice a jaggerdy and then throw some effects on it in photoshop and whollaaa.... no? ok... ill go back to my crazyworld inside my crazy head then!!! illepall

ERmm another "How often do you" thread? The other thread how often do you poo was closed due to its distainfulness and less than appealing comments by people. Now i didnt personally mind that thread but i can understand that for some people its not very pleasant to read about such stuff and to keep the forum clean and pleasant to read for others i do agree with al who closed the thread.

Now we have another thread which in no doubt is pretty useless and will probably lead to some unpleasant conversations.

I think enough is enough...

this is news to me, I also own gamecam lite and i have just checked and yes it opens a black screen and then closes it when trying to launch LFS...

hope some one has an explanation for this and a work around...
