Denedin mi bilmiyorum ama, araç pist üzerindeyken (ya da pitte) CTRL+A yapıp resimdeki ayarlardan vites seslerini arttırabilirsin.
Yine de ben söylediklerini çevirmeye çalışayım.

Alpis has "Logitec 3d force joystick", he installed the joystick's shifter program but he needs also shift sounds which is a feature of the joystick as far as I understand.

Merhaba Alpis, "FFB Shifter sound" demişsin, neyi kastettiğin pek anlaşılmıyor.
Biraz daha açıklayabilirsen sorununu daha kolay halledebilirsin.

@swisscosmo; if you were joined middle of the race than its usually expected that not to interfere the ongoing race.
Normally, midrace joiners has no rights on the track but practicing. Fair enough IMO.
But blocking and lagging issues are something I can not argue with, at least without a replay.

Check this thread, there are many steps you can apply;

It will be good if you share updates about the situation.
Good luck.

Its not wheel compensation, i.e; when the car has 450 degree (FBM) and your wheel is also same no matter the compensation is 0 or 1.

I am still suspected DFGT's software. But hardware problem is also possible (i.e optical reader problem etc.).
If you use latest profiler software, try to previous one (i.e 5.02.116 is what I use).
Before doing that delete everything related with DFGT.
Unplug it than start from the beginning.
As usual, check/adjust the axes in LFS.

If its still the same (I assume that you already tried on a fresh copy of LFS) than most probably your wheel is the problem.

PS: By the way, did you forced your whee against its stops? Or anything beyond the normal use, drop etc..?

Quote from Sarlacc :I translated the oficial rules of clean racing for the Brazilian LFS racers.
Since a play LFS for so many years I believe it's important that new racers learn how to play this wonderfull race sim in a clean way.

Exactly. CRC has good sample of rules.
Thanks to bring this up.
Especially "Overtaking" section is where the new racers confuse mostly as I see.
I also see that the Barge passing thing is done wrong most frequently.

You get full lock at 15 left +15 right total of 30 degrees I guess.
Try to shut down the profiler software. If its still the same than try to test it on fresh copy of LFS.
And deleting all drivers of wheel and unplugging it, rebooting and re-installing again from the beginning might be good idea.

Interesting, its not seems adjustment errors to me.
Did he tried to delete all wheel related drivers, unplug and reinstall his the software?
Maybe it is a good idea to test on the another fresh copy of LFS.

Quote from AlexC :
A project can be open-source and yet still deny any community input as well, remember.

Since I am not in this kind of open source stuff, maybe its a good idea.
If your idea is good enough than the devs will be evaluate it.
Who knows, maybe they choose to use your idea.

Quote from hereticlohani :
Those who make mistakes and go off the track should never be allowed to join until all the traffic is cleared.

Normally, this is the way we all need to do. Its a simple rule.

Quote from hereticlohani :
If there's a contest going on between two racers and an overtaking maneuver is imminent, should the guy 2 laps behind, albeit with a faster car, ruin our race and race positions by trying to get ahead at all costs defying the rules of racing, of time, space and the general understanding of where one stands regardless of the car ahead of you?

Getting back the lap is already sensitive decision to make. One mistake can ruin whole race of that car and other one.
And trying this to while two front cars competing is just a lack of common sense in lightest words. Also, situation is become potentially open to more mistakes by doing this.

IMO, most likely the developers are dreaming a state of the art simulator and sharing the source code might be end of this dream.
Maybe their primary target is not selling/licensing and distributing more copy of LFS. Or maybe there is a thin line between decisions about making money from LFS and its level of quality.

They are in this business since long time, so I am sure they are aware of the possibilities that they can use as a leverage to reach their targets.

Bringing relatively new options on the table is still good though since no one is perfect.

@ScoobRX; instead the ARB adjustment, try to soften front end bump or rear rebound dampers and try again if you want to more OS on entering the curves.

Some spr/mpr would be fine to see what happens.
As I understand, you have experiencing "oversteer" on curves
basically it happens when your set is not suited to you/track or
simply not good balanced or your corner entry speed is
higher than the normal.
But best thing is post a replay file here.

Good idea Nathan.
For bandwidth issues, everyone can upload few photos and photos limited to specified dimensions such as 800x600.
There are already tons of photos posted some topics so I think this idea make no big difference.

Hello BattleTron, welcome!

LFS is a gem if you looking for decent sim & on-line simracing experience.
If you have any questions about it you can ask at here.
Although, I am pretty sure if you search around you probably find nearly all answers related to LFS,
game controllers, how to's, adjustments, setups etc.
Its amazing sim and still it's development continues, which is a good thing.
There is a small developer team dedicated themselves to perfecting it.
They did excellent job so far and I am appreciated for that.

Have a good day.

Exactly XCNuse, I agree thats the safest way to do to avoid contacts & being cursed by LFS's famous damage dynamics.

Racing with tight margins is maybe good for IRL competitions but in LFS we are racing like we had some major disabilities (you can count lags, viewing differences, controller difficulties/limitations etc).

@XCNuse, as I said, its hard to judge.
When I took the crash both sides point of view, I think I probably brake earlier than Ring does and look for another opportunity to pass XRG if I am faster & more consistent than him. A little early braking could save this crash.

For XRG's point of view; I would keep my car straight as possible (not to try gain extra space by moving far left) and try to take the turn as perfect as possible with this narrow entry.

Two POV together I concluded as I said above post, but its race, its happening most of time, they can say "race accident" "sorry" - "sorry" both sides and move on. Both Patrese and Ring are good drivers I believe, I dont think that they made this kind of mistakes so often. I count adrenalin, stress, environmental factors etc.
I also think that this example is good to show that sometimes things are not black & white (well most of the time)

@Ring; Its looks hard to decide but I think your fault is little more than XRG driver. You have clear left, and same goes for XRG; he had almost clear left (you had no overlap), than at the braking zone he brakes little early than you as all XRG's do normally, you should known that & should have been prepared for that also.
I said hard to decide because the moment & position of the XRG when just starting brake (nose pointed left-according to the track longitudinal axis) is not what ppl generally do. This point is debatable but still since you hit the XRG, I can say that its mainly your fault because its braking zone.

And for the ppl who thinks its "big no no" to braking front of someone, you need to reconsider and think about the yellow flags, some abnormal conditions, IRL, etc. And its normal for ppl having different braking distances, so, be prepared for early braking at braking zones.

IMO, best thing is don't wait for the front car's stop lights, brake just little earlier and adjust the brake pressure by keeping the safe distance.

Hello & welcome vonb66!

If you like driving and you prefer the more realism versus easy driving, you are on the right place.
NotAnIllusion had give you very good references for quick start.

There are many things to learn about the LFS but there are very good sources also.
As you practice, as you read the manual and starting to change the adjustments of the car you will see that you are improving.
To improve yourself you will need to know on which points you are wrong. For example; if you cant take Blackwood (BL1) Turn 1 with XFG car at certain speeds, let say 80 Km/h than you need to consider about your speed if its too high (with XFG, its around 70) etc..

But, it take time to achieve some level generally.
Beside of the good setup (suited to your driving style) it needs also lap after lap practice sessions to get 1.34s for BL1/XFG.
A decent wheel is advised for more immersion. But there are many mouse /Kb users also.

You can check LFSWorld to see how many Km/Miles people covered (by clicking the left hand bottom icon, under the forum names for example).
There are many interesting info over there.

Good luck & have fun

PS. For BL1/XFG setup needs check those adresses:

@gxgung; your sentence is generalized thus may perceived (by me for example) as you don't expected to.

You and him (ipod guy) in same financial situations and he chooses one thing to another
than this could be an indication of something as you pointed out above.
halo

@gxgung; "Why should you play against people who take the game seriously ? You can play with people who take it JUST as a game." interesting comment. Do you believe this really? If so, seriousness is kind a sickness, disorder or something like that?
I wonder when ppl realize that this is just another game, a good one. You could have enough money to get yourself a superb rig with frex wheel mounted etc, but this is shows one thing for sure; that you can afford it, that is it. Beyond that point no one can say that if somebody have not got a decent controller than he/she don't taking it serious. How possibly one can know that?

Its like saying that if you don't have a Ferrari or Porsche than you don't take the driving activity serious enough.

Server side option for the clutchers is not a problem for me, ppl can do what ever they want without disturbing others.

IMO, boxing should not be counted as a sport beside with hunting.
Violence is in human's soul maybe but no need to encourage this with ads etc. Ppl said that aim of the boxing is make points by punching specific areas,
so its true but not complete. K.O. count is matters. K.O could ended up with deaths, but for a boxing fan this is also a side effect.

Tv/media; it is most effective tool of today; its tranquilizer, deceitful, guiding, some times fun but most of the time its biased toward the power sources. Today, media has became a useful tool that using for changing attitudes of the community. It can use anything suitable for the benefits of the forces behind the curtain. Morality, being bad example etc. are none of their business.

Boxing and other so called similar lethal sports are nothing but a bloody scene of human instinct.
If you want a fight than fight with this instinct that draws the humanity to its darkest age.

@Void; All I can say is currently there are no decent sanctions for this kind of attitude (as in BMW & White XFG case) as you know.

One more thing, at last mpr, on lap 4/T2 tell me if I am wrong.
The XRG front of me is trying to closing inside line with moving weirdly early on me (as he did in lap 3/last corner), and sweared to all of us after I said "thanks". I know well that barge passing is something delicate. But I had no chance to avoid this unexpected move.
It was first race of So6r, so grid line up is mixed, I was expecting accidents but intentional blocking and swearing to the whole community is bad as crashing.

As the BMW and White XFG case, those ppl are most probably little problematic childs.
They dont care if they get kick/ban, there are many servers out there to mess with the racing ppl. Your ban is meaningless since they dont want to race, just attracting the attention and desperately looking for someone who taking them "in consideration" as an individual is enough for them. Thereby they can confirmed that they are important for some at least IMO.
Typical immature and/or half-witted attitude.
