I have a question... This may be stupid, but how do you save replays of the training exercises? I cant figure it out!
I had this before.. I dont think this is new. And im pretty sure many others have aswell.
the pic isnt working for me... I really want to see what it looks like. Its almost imposible to find a decent old civic that doesnt hae the ricers touch. Id like a 97 eagle talon, but all i can find have the ugliest things i have ever seen done to them. Its a waste of time to buy a car thats riced up already, costs tooo much to fix everything.
Its not that we cant tune the cars, but the 6 liter v8's cant pass an emissions test when its tuned to make 400-500 horsepower. Take a look at 1960's mucle cars, before gas was expensive, and emissions ruled the roads. Even now, chrysler and dodge are using the hemi again, and you can get them with over 400 horsepower. The 250 hp v8's came in the trans-am/camero/corvette in the late 70's and the early 80's. And a lot of those engines are the same as what you will get in a truck, so they are torque monsters. Now, 6 liters will get you a modest 500 horsepower. See the Z06 corvette... Or the 2008 viper...

I Am willing to bet Eric is a very very busy man, and has little time to be dropping hints about his work. I'd say he is well into all the new s3 features. In the next patch or next couple of patches, i know we will see new interiors for the gtr class atleast.
How about people who cut you off, then look at you like you're retarded?! I hate when people back out of their driveways without looking, or look and figure "If he hits me, its his insurance, not mine" How about when a traffic light goes green, and people just wait forever, or when you are a few seconds late on the light, and someone blows the horn at you. Funny story about that, a friend of mine was late on a green light, so the guy behind him blows his horn. My buddy puts his 6.3 liter turbo diesel chevy monster into park, squeezes his 350 pound 6 foot 5 inch ass out of the truck, walks back to the guy behind him, knocks on his window, and asks if his horn was broke. How about when you are waiting for somone to drive past so you can turn into a parking lot, and they are obviously not going anywhere close to the speed limit, and does not speed up at all so you have to wait for ever! Or, when someone thinks its ok to park in a handy cap parking spot if they remain in the car? Im sure i can keep going. I also hate when cops park at the bottom of a steep hill, and pull you over because you were speeding down over it. People who always leave their signal light on, or turn it on about 1 mile before the turn, and just let the car gradually slow down. This is the worst!!! when people stop at a traffic light, about 10 feet behind the car infront of them. So there is not enough room to get around them to the right turning (left in GB) lane, so you have to wait for the light to go because they are too stupid to move a little bit closer. (SEE PICTURE) I have only had my lisence for a year!

After 14 fps the images will appear to blend smoothly (some what) but the controls may feel sluggish, aslong as you can play smoothly, i wouldn't worry. How many people/ai drivers do you race? Are you on autocross layouts? Do you have anything else running that may cause the slow down? If all else fails, use lower quality settings... Thats probably all you can do. Also, what version of lfs are you using? maybe try a newer or older version?

I will have to back him up on this. Why not? How about having a button that will spin the car 180 degrees really fast? Shouldnt very difficult to do. Kind of stealing the trhead, but i think the brakes/e-brake should be on while you are looking at the cars in the pits. You can make the car roll around. I have had the car move out of view before. I think I did it by moving the cars ride heigt up and down, making it look like the car was a low rider...

First when i saw the pic, i thought it was the LX6, buit look at the positioning of the exhaust... The lx6 has the pipe on the left hand side. Im assuming this has two pipes, one on each side. Also, look at the rims/slicks/thickness of tires! Thats the LX8 alright! I want it! I bet the devs have it and still race with it... I know i would. I can't imagine the devs deleting the files, so they do exist! We just have to bother the devs enough to get them! I find that video funny. The sound is horrible, and the handling is even worse!
I bet with the physic we have now, it could actually be raceable, not to metion being the First V8 in anything besides a formula car. IMO a much needed addition to LFS.

Where im from, marijauna is a far larger problem with teens then smoking a cigarette. Im sure most of you know already that canada almost has marijauna legalized.We are all taught here, "DONT SMOKE, YOU WILL DIE A SLOW PAINFUL DEATH, AND IT HURTS OTHERS AROUND YOU" for cigarettes, but when it comes to marijauna, we are just told, "Sure its fun, but its illegal (kind of) and will get you in trouble, you may have to pay a fine". I dont know about you, but i think that may sound sort of appealing to a 15 year old. My father had to stop smoking after having a heart attack, and now chews alot of the nicotine gum. He finds it really helpful just to have something to his mouth. Gum, candy, drink, food, ice cream, anything like that. I have a lot of friends that started to smoke whe they were drunk. "Its only one or two when im drunk, no big deal." Now they do it all of the time. I never really have been appealed to it, and never really wanted to try it. My grandfather stoped overnight, woke up and said im going to never smoke another one (after his open-heart surgery/Triple by-pass operation) and neve touched another one again. He smoked for over 50 years! He quit almost 10 years ago, and is now developing cancer. Just because you stop, doesn't mean you are not at a higher risk of getting cancer.
My dad hates tail-gating. In his dodge caravan, there is a spray nozel, that sprays the windshield wash down over the back window. With A quick twist, and a slice of plastic, it now squirts back about 2 feet, aswell as going on the window. So when someone is tailgating him, he sprays their car with the windshield wash! Its so funny to watch them back off. He gets quite a few dirty looks. But it works!
Try to reset your router? Look through the manual, and see how to reset it. Might fix it. Look online (when you can) google your router and see what you can find in forums with similar problems. How far are you from the router? Maybe it is not getting a good signal?
Buicks? Buicks are for old people. The are big cars, loaded with options, and have a lower price tag. You can get supercharged regals, they are a blast! Im just saying taht american cars can go faster in a straight line, i know euro cars are fast in corners. In order to get a decent performing european car, you have to dish out the big bucks. That cavalier might have 10,000 dollars put into it. Making it a 30,000 dollar car that can go faster then a 300,000 dollar car! It wont be able to go around the turns as fast, but who cares! Imagine seeing a cavalier blowing past a lamborgini on the highway. European cars are too expensive, and dont offer the kind of performance you get out of an american car dollar per dollar.

In a european car, your too afraid to to run them hard, because the clutch will probably cost more to replace then the american car your getting passed by!

A friend of mine has a 2001 chevy cavalier, with a 3.3 liter v6! And a garrett t3/t4 turbo @14psi! The thing is crazy! He dont know how much power it makes, but he estimates 350+. He loves to pull up to people with the non-GT mustangs, with the 3.8 liter V6, and destroy them. The car looks almost stock, except for the 3-inch pipe that sticks out under the drivers door. Conects directly to header, no muffler. You can hear it from a mile away when he floors it.
TC will hold acceleration at around .97g's. If you are good enough to control the throttle, you can get 1.35 g's. Get in the BF1 on a straight away, get going about 50, turn off TC and put it in 3rd. Floor it! And watch the g-meter in the F9 menu. Should go much higher then it will with TC on. The g-meter tells you how fast you are accelerating. 1.00 is 9.7 meters/second. If you are getting more then that, say 1.30, you are accelerating at about 40 km/h each second. The bf1 can hold 1.30 for about 3 seconds! Putting you at about 200km/h!

Actually, if you have s2, you can use lfstweak. That gives the xrt, xrg, xfg as much power as you want, and better handeling if you use wider tires and slicks and stuff. So yes, in a way, it is possible to do. But it isnt cheating. you cannot go into regular servers and your times are not uploaded to lfsworld.
