The snow keeps on falling here, been 9 hours with only two ten minute brakes between snow showers . At the rate things are going, it'll freeze tonight and be here tomorrow.
I'm still waiting for my boss to pick me up, that's the last I heard anyway. Only 2 hours and 15 minutes left of work time.

Rigs Of Rods can simulate land, air and in the next installment sea vehicals. But in order to use Rigs of Rods to it's full potential you need a fairly powerful computer due to the nature of the sim.
You can also make your own truck, plane, whatever as long as you can get to grips with the node and beam system it uses which can prove tricky at times.
It's still in a early stage of development so there is the odd quirk here and there, but that's just part of it being at a early stage in development.
One of Rigs Of Rods forums is located here:

Quote from M.Catamount :im going to need a second computer to stream a live race?

Not if your graphics card has 2 monitor "ports". Put Beckys application on 1 monitor and play LFS on the other .

Well like I said, Becky was going to develop it further but people went against her for enhancing LFS.

I found Becky's app on my computer and uploaded it:

She was developing it further till people pushed her too far .

Quote from djgizmo68 :I persoanlly wouldnt like this released until the devs have a look at it, and say "ok".

Quote from LFS Rules :If a mod is approved by a moderator, it may then be released in the appropriate section of the forum. Please do not contact a developer as we do not support mods and do not have the time to deal with them.

Your going to be waiting a long time for the Dev(s) to ok it then.

I know Becky Rose Made a app called LFS Race-Watcher that had little 3d versions of the cars on a not too detailed track that would stream from whichever server you picked.
I cannot for the life of me find the darn thread/post on it though.

The only delete function we have available to us is "soft delete". It mearly hides it from members view. If you were to log in as a Mod you'll see all them soft deleted messages unless a mod permanently deletes them.

It's just the lines which are a pain in the butt. I use nHancer instead of the Nvidia control panel because it's easier to use. I would also love to get some AA on the mirror to make it overall look better.

How do I add AA to the white lines in LFS?

In the above image you will see that no matter how much AA and AF I give it, all the lines are sharp.

That screenshot was taken at:

16x CSAA (8 color + 16 cv samples)
Gamma Correction
Super Transpanrency AA
16x AF
High Quality texture filtering
Trilinear optimization = On
Aniso. sample optimization = On
Negative LOD Bias = Allow
Mip Bias in LFS = 0

Is there a option in nHancer that'll help me strighten the lines out? It's really doing my nut in.

Diden't Starforce offer a (big?) sum of money to whoever could go to their HQ and show how SF messes with a computer and no one actually managed to get the money?
I'm maybe one of a few that doesn't mind SF or related protections.

Quote from redruM69 :Just to set some things straight...
#1: Its not really a "hole". Its the result of a LOT of work, months of research and experimentation. Its not just a quick hack.. HUGE chunks of raw code are replaced on the fly. We doubt anybody can duplicate it, unless we give out tons of specific info.

Thanks for the clarification on it .

The rate things are moving, it's only time before snippits of information starts leaking as more people figure out this elusive "hole".

Well I gave it a shot and it seemed to work perfect the last couple of hours constant use on LFS.
My G25 is almost silent is quite unbelieveable. When the FFB is turned off it feels almost friction free . I'm once again a happy man .

Quote from Jakg :shaver plug works, but just get a plug that plugs into the inverter, it's what i did

and again in a non-nerdy way?

Here's what I have:

I've just recived mine from overclockers. But as I expected it come with a 2 pin US plug on it. What's the best thing to do:

1. Pack it back up and get it RMA'ed
2. Plug the US plug into my shaver plug which converts it to 3 pin UK plug
3. Cut the plug off and change it to a UK one?

It's just really fustrating because I don't know if it's safe to use a shaver plug?

If anyone has any advice I would greatly appriciate it.

She's a admin, she could change it to 1933 if she wanted. Doesn't mean she actually joined then.
