I don't think we really need a more advanced automatic tranny. It's not that hard to learn when it's time to shift, and with time, it will come naturally. It's just pure laziness and carelessness that makes people stick to auto gears.
Of course, later it would be nice to have a all-round sim, but for now most things have a lot higher priority than proper auto gear for cruisers.
Just learn how to use that stick, or paddle properly :P

Serious Sam 2 also has coop story mode, which is quite fun with more players.

Also, the use of Systweak cache boost helped a lot, it doesnt take ages to alt-tab, and then go back with 2gb ram. Cant wait till christmas to get the other 2gig, gf doesnt want to give it to me sooner

I installed the 64bit Vista today hoping that it solves my problems, and it did! No bsod, no fps drops, no controlling problems. Fps wise its the same as under 32bit vista.

It seems I only have steering problems, when I have sudden FPS drops, then it goes back to normal. Damn it's annoying to restart the game after every mission.
Also, when I have those fps drops, it doesn't react to any key, not even ESC. And the more I play the frequent those drops come...

Bought it on Friday, had time only today to try it out. Damn its buggy. I get BSODs on some menu visits, or while loading new missons, but no blue screen when just driving around, even for hours. I also have that throttle and steering bug, which is really annoying. Any tips, or known methods to make it work? I haven't read everything about these problems, but will do soon.

Btw, it runs ok. Medium textures, very high rendering, 1280*768, rest set to halfway, and getting 25-50 fps in game. E8200, 2GB ram and HD4850 with vista.

Well I think saying sorry during race - no matter if it's binded or not - is kinda unnecessary. Not like you don't have enough time to chat after the race. Bigger leagues also have chatstop during race, and it has a point. Distracts people. Even if the sorry goes to someone else, I tend to read all the chat during race, making driving much harder when you have an eye on the upper left.
During race you drive, after yo have finished, you should chat. Thats my point.

Maybe you have your wheel rotated. Caster affects camber.

You would never imagine, I bought them Nah, it's really not hard to buy cars like these here, but most of them are in quite a bad shape. So is the anniversary.
I really want to save it, since its a damn rare one, only 147 were made with manual gearbox, and around 3000 with auto, but the chassis is falling apart everywhere. Ill keep it, at least for parts until I finish with the other one. Both have very very long stories to tell, but thats another topic :P

Well, thats it. None of them works tbh . The VW starts actually, but doesnt have papers. Oh, and in total they are under 5000€. And I drive my moms 1.4 Polo.

I tried it on the Wii yesterday, to be honest I expected a bit more. The first, and biggest problem is the low FPS, its annoying even in the menus. Also, some massive load time selecting tracks, and applying options.
The game itself, the driving I mean is quite entertaining. I wont call it a sim, but with the aids turned off you really gotta fight that car out of corners.
Not bad, but the low FPS problem ruins it all, Id say its running around 20ish or so. Bah, shame, it could have been a really nice game...
