Hello Race Fans!

New Dimension Racing are pleased to announce a revival event for one of our most popular properties, the iCON Touring Car Championship (iTCC)!

Created by the iCON Racing Team in late 2008, with a debut season in winter 2009, the restricted-FXR championship strove to emulate the racing of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) and World Touring Car Championship (WTCC). Known through the racing world as competitive and exciting racing, both series remain immensely popular. iTCC selected the FXR and gave it 32% intake restriction, and a test race was held in December 2008, which proved the concept with fantastic racing, and set the series in motion.

We have decided that a revival event for the iTCC would be a great end cap for 2016. We will run the event on Sunday, December 11th, with a reserve shootout (if necessary) starting at 17:00 UTC, and qualifying starting at 18:00 UTC. The event will take place at Westhill National, with the three races being 14 laps each ( with up to two laps added in the event of a safety car deployment. Sign ups, rules, etc will be forthcoming in separate threads.

We hope you join us!

is not listed in the Tracker on the Website.

Unser Team 3 wird nicht auf der Trackerseite angezeigt.

My apologies, a clerical error - I had you marked as FX2 instead of FXR - fixed now.

Quote from KlausAdam :We will definitely not use any open config. I have no experience with endurance races and open config. So there may be issues with flags or the tracker I can't solve.

In the past, when NDR used an open config, we experienced very few significant issues. Positions list in-game only updates at the splits, which is no big deal. I never recall any issues with the tracker we used and open configs, since it simply relied on laps and sectors, nothing else. And as far as I recall, yellow/blue flags kept working alright.

Thanks for confirming, I suck at driving so couldn't really test if it was going to record or not. I did rotate to other open configs to make sure it would record, then back to KY3Y_K31 but kept running of out talent so never got a "clean" lap to test Big grin

Quote from jueweb :Protest incident Round 3

Round (1, 2, 3, 4 or 5): 83
Session of Incident (Qualifying*, Race): Race
Protestor's LFS Lap: 83
Timecode of Incident (EITHER MPR time OR Time of Day): 1:49:45 +
Your Car number: 31
Protested Car number(s): 24
Brief description of incident: 24 ERP Marcelo waitet for 31 HoR Mensa a bit, crashes then on straight without any logical reason in car 31. Then leaves the server. Seemes to be a revanche because he lost leading position a few laps before while overlapping car 31.

NOTE: Thilo was not involved in this Steward's Decision as Car 31's driver HoR Mensa is his teammate. He recused himself from the discussion.

Car 24 Infringements:
Causing an avoidable incident on Lap 85 (MPR 1:46:00) with Car 31 during lapping.
Slowed down exiting the penultimate corner to a near-stop on Lap 88 (MPR 1:49:45) to wait for Car 31 to repass, then entering the pit straight turned hard left into the side of Car 31, deliberately wrecking Car 31. The PM recieved after the incident further indicates the reckless abandon intent in the move.

Penalty for Causing an Avoidable Incident, Unsporting Behaviour, Violation of Spirit of the Event, and Incorrect Blue Flag Behaviour:
Car 24 is excluded from the Race Result
EPR Marcelo (bacabinha) is banned from OEC competition until 1 May 2017
Energy Pro Racing will be deducted an additional 2.5 points

By the way, finally figured out why my comparison of scheduled car vs what was driven on server wasn't working - bonus CRLF in the input string! Finally stripped them, so if you look now at the qtracker, you should see the car your team declared.

Quote from jueweb :Actual I am not sure that tracking the rounds on SO5r works realy fine.
The reason is, that I cannot imagine that a FXR with 24 % air restrictor can be driven to a time of 1:15:xx
But there are two of those times listet in the Qtracker.

I may need to audit the car input that the qtracker looks at, but all the actual laptimes match the user's entry in the !top list, but there's a mismatch of the car types. I don't yet check and eliminate cars that are run but aren't the officially declared ones, so that may be the case that they're trying the other classes and it's showing the car based on the username, NOT what airio records.

The LFSWorld results would need to account for those who retire before race finish, etc.

+1 to the overall idea.

I've updated the driver input file to match what currently was on the entry list.

If you don't see your time on the site, it's because you're not on the entry list input. If you've recently signed up, I usually update the list every 24h or so. If you think you should be there, PM me and I'll look.

Next task at some point, is to try and remove entries in the timesheet in the car your team has not selected.

At current rates and motivations, a Kyoto 250 is going to always be more likely than a Kyoto 500. We're thinking of a couple things, and I may bring another Kyoto 250 into the mix before year's end. Do keep in mind that the Kyoto 250 is right now the ONLY event that NDR has run in every year of its existence!
